"Sign in with google" option on forums

I originally signed up for the beta with the google sign in. because I did that I was forced to make an entirely different account for the forums here. I don't really care all that much about the tester badge and stuff but others might. its a pretty huge oversight if you ask me

The above website does not seem to be linked in any way to these forums and I did not receive any email inviting me to the forums with that account (As the discord announcement said I would). no button to go to the forums with that account, nothing.

At least I was able to use the same email though which is odd.

Edit, my dum dum self didnt check the announcements. feel free to ignore/delete
