What Other Suits Could We Get?
We have suits that "specialize in melee combat" and "specialize in range combat", but what other stuff could we get for suits?
- Maybe a suit for consumables; letting use carry more, have a chance to have the consumable refunded after using it, or throw them further?
- Maybe a suit for looting; making loot more likely to drop and giving is more rewards for completing raids?
- Maybe a suit that lets us detected nearby things; making detecting traps and guards easier, or having traps activation delayed based on how far away it is?
Who knows really, just some ideas, but what suits do you think we could get in the game?

I think you're missing the obvious choice. A defensive suit. One that works off the shield. I know it gets a ton of flak, but a shield suit would be interesting.

Equipment and resources are two very good choices.
Agility?
Jump height increase
speed boost on "Close call" ( thats an actual exp thing when you dodge by small margin. )
Increased max grapple length
Otherwise armor?
deflects a single hit from the front, vulnerable from the back ( Levels would dictate what you can brush off ) grunt projectile /bolt /explosive
some shield/perfect shield shenanigan and others.

i made a huge list of suggestions on someone else's post. everything i said keeps bouncing around the community so at least i know i'm not the only one with those ideas. want me to share it here?

I think we're going to see a explosive ordnance disposal suit that makes you more resistant to explosives but it makes you very slow.

I think they would have to add more things involving explosions for that to work though. Not a bad idea, just not really a use for it atm since there is a lack of explosions/AOE.

A hybrid specialist. One that gains a bonus to melee when using ranged and a bonus to ranged when using melee. For example:
- When destroying a trap/guard with a melee attack return the last bolt fired. Cooldown 10/5/1 second.
- When destroying a trap/guard with a ranged attack this ability activates. The next time you destroy a trap/guard with a melee attack gain a shield that makes you invulnerable for 1/1.5/2 seconds. Cooldown of 4 seconds once shield deactivates.
- After destroying a trap/guard with both a melee weapon and ranged weapon, create an explosion centered on you that doesn't harm you. Cooldown 15/12/9 seconds.

I believe when Sector 1: Dreadshore releases, we'll get more explosive traps. Don't forget, we also have Dead Switch mods for guards and self destruct mods for some traps.
This makes me think we're going to have a sea mine.
But it could be a new custodian. Beneath the mine looks like a torso to me.

Ya that’s a custodian. You can even see the 03 on it. I am really hoping it’s a defensive based custodian

An information suit would be interesting as a concept.
Maybe one ability lets you see traps through walls at a very short distance. Like you are hugging the east face of a block with a trap on the north side for example. Maybe at max level you can see a trap at a distance on the opposite side of example block.
Maybe another ability basically laser points to anything that is actively targeting you, for those long range shooters who are at bizarre angles.
I don't know about a third ability, but I think it pulls away from suit abilities that directly benefit specific weapons.

it's definitely a new custodian.
Ironside is called ATA-1 (but i can't find the number on the suit)
kamaitachi has 02 on the right arm.
in the sector 1 photo you can see 03 on the "face"
this means it's a custodian as they're numbered.
