I'm surprised with Ghostface (Rank 1 experience)
I never thought I would say this but Ghostface is red rank viable.
I decided to take a break from Spirit and try Ghostface at Rank 1. I literally can't believe the outcome. Because of the event, most of my matches are against SWF teams, but I haven't lost a single match, yet and I have been playing for 4 hours non stop.
For some reason I feel as powerful as spirit. I just stalk them from a corner and they are exposed in seconds. Even if I don't expose them, they are a free hit. Also looping is not a problem as I use his crouching and lack of red stain to my advantage.
I really don't care if they nerf spirit. I already know her replacement.

I already main ghostface in rank 1, and I get 2ks or more nearly all the time, unless there's a genrush swf, in which I take corrupt intervention, ruin, PGTW and nurses lol

Watch survivors and people like ScottJund/OhTofu/ZubatLel saying: OMG SUBZSAD Ghostface can hit 4 survivors with 0 skills!!! How can I counter one killer with no TR and Red Stain AND INSTADOWN PEPEGA??? How do we allow things like that? This is no F.U.N!!!! We care about fun! Please devs, take a look 😭👌

Yeah, they never say that. They say "outskilled" and make fun of his power because of how broken his detection is, not that the power is overly strong. They don't think the actual power is bad whatsoever, just the mechanics of it. Don't assume things about people when you have 0 clue what you're talking about.

I really like tru3ta1ent's way of playing GF, without using his power and juggling survivors all the time. Sloppy/Thana/Nurse's with his lack of red stain and terror radius can really come in play.

I love Ghostface, my favorite outfit for him so far is his Legacy jacket and the P3 mask, they go together so perfectly.
I am a stealthy player so Ghostface's tactics come naturally to me, I'm sure if I had more time to play Killer I could probably get to the Red Ranks with him; even though I don't want to.
Ghostface's stealth can be used to juggle, immediately switch targets while in a chase with the other Survivor not even aware of what's going on until it's too late. The Red Stain disappears and I am taking full advantage of his crouch, trying to find the right way to mindgame loops with it, Ghostface is awesome.

ehhh GF is not red rank viable if you are stalking, from the way true uses him then he is close but SWF will still crush him, you give up time for a free hit to try and stalk and there is about 101 different ways to stop him from stalking. plus him getting revealed behind walls is a thing to.....

I’ve been maining ghostface since he came out and I stay in red ranks. You get a few free gen yoinks nearly every game and he can be so tough to play against. He can dodge BT, instantly down people, and stalk to 99 and bounce if a survivor hits a difficult loop. His biggest weakness before was ooo and that is happily no longer an issue :)

Yeah, but they're not saying he's overly powerful in any capacity, and usually don't complain about how powerful a killer is, they mostly just point out the fact that some things dont take much skill or are buggy. (Legion didnt take skill, GF is buggy). I didn't prove anything you said to be true, I literally stated they have no problem with how powerful he is, it's just that he is a buggy killer, so they poke fun at him.

Most likely due to his reveal mechanics. He has to have 20% of his body in the middle of a survivor's camera to start being revealed. He can lean from cover so <20% is shown but he can still see survivors. If he ducks into cover for a split second it negates / restarts timer and there's a 'buffer' timer so if survivors see him for basically 1.2 seconds the remaining .3 causes him to be revealed (so that he can't use above to force exposes as easily)

His reveal mechanics are extremely inconsistent. I watched one stream where Scott was playing GF and got revealed from the other side of a solid wall while nobody was there. While on the other hand, some times people stare directly at him and it does next to nothing. It overall is a fun but frustrating power because of how buggy it can be.

You still stalk as Ghost Face ? New meta on him is just to use his stealth to juggle survivors with anti healing perks from what I saw. But SWF teams can still easily destroy him, especially on big and open maps.

Yeah, it's funny how Ghostface's stealth mode essentially makes him a stronger version of the Wraith, even if you never use his Stalk. Just goes to show how bad Wraith's base kit really is.
