New means of applying map pressure
From browsing this forum, I have noticed that more and more people are noticing issues for killers to apply general map pressure. While there has been a lot of discussion surrounding this problem, I haven't seen anyone really suggesting their solutions (maybe out of fear of criticism or trolling?)
So, I was wondering if anyone out there had come up with an ideas that may address this problem, that you could post them here. You can post your idea with a short description of the pros and cons of the solution and maybe we could all come to so kind of consensus.

Really, the best thing to do is to wait for map reworks that shrink the size of the largest maps. The current state of maps, either having blatant safe zones or being too large for killers without mobility to traverse them feeds into a lot of the problems the game has.
Unfortunately, at the rate the devs are tackling map rebalancing, combined with their inability (refusal?) to make minor map fixes to alleviate numerous, long-known god loops in the game, I doubt you'll see the maps be in a palatable spot for the next three or so years.

I was actually thinking about a change that removes great skill checks when two or more people are working on the same gen. It would lower the speed of gen progression by a small bit.
Writing in the code that a totem has to have 3 adjacent wall when it spawns, just to make Ruin a harder target. I remember I played the Nurse's map and my lit totem was sitting right in the middle of the field no tree or debris blocking it.

Maybe just give the Killers the ability to re-craft the totem I mean the pieces are all there. Make it so that if you have like Devour Hope with a few tokens the value resets to zero.

This is essentially the perfect answer. Maps and the god loops and windows.

Yeah, if they would just focus on making maps smaller and removing god loops it would help out so many of the killers who lack the mobility to apply pressure. Shortening many of the pallet loops on many maps would help too, as SO many of them are unmindgamable.

Give the killer a hunting rifle

It's not always a pressure application thing as much as it is a pressure acknowledgement issue. I'm not obligated to stop working on a gen unless a killer is actively chasing and trying to hit me. That's just how killers work. They have to commit to someone at some point. I can't tell you how many times a killer has "applied pressure" only to watch me finish a gen in their face with 3 injuries and no hooks to show for it.
