was movement speed while carrying changed?

i’ve played 3 rounds today where the killer was walking way too fast while carrying me to hook. almost like normal movement speed. is this new? i’ve also had a trapper today that kept swinging repeatedly to move fast while carrying me which was basically like normal movement speed. this seems broken...

    mad grit and agitation most likely

    Thats probably a combination of the Perks Agitation and Mad Grit.

    As others mentioned, Agitation is responsible for that. It's quite common at the moment because there's a challenge in the most recent level of the current Tome which requires its use. When they swing while carrying you, it's not to make them go faster, it's just because they can with Mad Grit and it's fun to show it off.
