Are people judging Oni's performance too soon?

I've seen several discussions appear saying Oni is under-performing and needs some changes to help him.

Considering the Killer has not been out for a week, and what was played on the PTR does not accurately represent game-play on the Live servers, I think it's a too soon to judge whether or not he is balanced and needs changes yet.

Yes, people need to play as/against him for much longer before coming to a conclusion of whether he's balanced or not

Maybe, the PTR provides useful info but the Live servers are vastly different from what goes on in the PTR
