They'll never do that
They don't want people hacking the game and get like 100million points for example. That's what their reasoning was a few years ago and why it would likely never happen

I understand the cap, so people don’t just rush new content, but an increase in cap sounds like a step in the right direction!

The funny thing is that people just save up a 1 million points before a chapter anyway. And have shards ready for even extra points.
And people somehow get the characters to p3 in like a week or less, its crazy. I don't think it really makes a different to me

Thats not possible anymore since the devs track that stuff on their backend now.
Even if it were possible, nothing is stopping people from just hacking in two million BP to spend at a time.

From a business standpoint, I get it. They want you to spend more time playing with the new content instead of getting the best of the best of stuff on them.
Wait, people still spend shards on points?! The only ones worthwhile are the ones worth 2700 for the 250k BPs.
