Pre and Post Game Maps

I saw a post on reddit stating they would like a post game map showing the paths of each survivor and killer during the match (similar to white noise, or mario chase if you're familiar). I think this would be a great idea and fun after the end of the match.

Then I thought this could also be used pre-game as an advantage to the killer by displaying the spawn locations for totems and allowing the killer to choose which one(s) they would like their hex applied to. For example if a killer runs 2 or more hex totems, they would be applied randomly to the chosen spawn totems. I think this could help killers from getting the insanely obvious spawn locations.

For the record I am a solo survivor main who rarely plays killer and I think I have plaid SWF maybe a dozen times. I just know that hex totems have always been a hot button issue and now with the ruin rework(sorry, nerf) more killers say they are quitting or will be more toxic, neither of which is good for a poor solo survivor in a world of SWF lol. Having more control over spawn choice could ease the sting of losing ruin.

What do you guys think? I know I would definitely love the post game map.

I don't think I'd like a pregame map. That would make it kind of boring imo. Post-game could be a fun addition I suppose, if there was a way to distinguish between each player (Then I would know what the P3 Claudette was REALLY up to ;) )

  • It could color code each players trail or have a mini survivor and killer head to track paths

I'm actually surprised this game doesn't have a replay system in it. Their bug hunting would go through the roof if they could simply pull up a match and seen what happened.
