Yellow ping isn't good and shouldn't be the standard

I have been playing with my friend on the east coast of the US, and I am on the west coast of the US. For this reason, one of us will get the green ping and the other yellow. This happens in every single trial, 100% of the time. It makes sense. The dedicated server has to be closer to one of us. For reference, I am a rank 1 survivor.
Anyway, this phenomenon has allowed me to really experience the difference between yellow and green ping. Yellow Ping SUCKS.
It seems harmless, but yellow ping (120-130) makes vaults mess up where you obviously made the vault yet are still downed. The worst was when I was against a Freddy, vaulted the harvester on a cold wind farm map and got hit at the bottom of the harvestor after you vault it and fall off the hay bale. I made it to the ground before I was hit.
I must have teleported on Freddy's screen because he immediately lost me.
Additionally, if you have yellow ping, dead hard is very inconsistent.
Overall, when I have green ping. I experience none of these issues.
The Devs need to set a standard for themselves of all players get green ping. Yes it is a challenge, but literally that I what they should aim for. If you aim for the moon and miss, you'lll land among the stars.

I mean... yeah?
Yellow isn't the "standard" ping, it's the "not terrible" ping.
