Unpopular opinion : Xp rates (not bloodpoints) should be tied to emblems (and other tweaks i'd make)
Anyone can spend a couple dozen hrs playing wraith afk farming iri shards. or you know, just playing the game to passively earn xp and therefore rift and bloodpoints (through shrine)/outfits.
I feel the xp gain for a match should be more tied to emblems. You get all 4 iridecent? you should get more xp then you do already. Get bronze or nothing? get next to no xp excluding passive match xp. Should even out to be around the same rate, but hopefully encourage people to play in both healthier ways and to play the game. Sure the emblem system isin't perfect by any stretch, but it does for killer encorage 3 hooking all survivors and not camping which is healthy. Survivor side is a little harder to... think about in ways of xp, as iri survival is very hard to get requiring you to not be downed the whole match, so I'm not too sure if that should grant a higher amount of xp for that said emblem, or a lower amount due to its difficulty, same with 4king as killer expecially if the devs are attempting to balance around a 2-2 ratio.
Also match xp should also not be capped, instead, if a game lasts more than 20-30 mins, bells should begin to chime indicating the endgame collapse is imminent, where it would there upon kick people from the game. this would be to stop 4man swfs of claudettes (though these i'll admit are incredibly rare) from hiding in bushes on swamp/yamaoka etc to screw with someone forever. This would also stop hostage builds from like, doctor etc from causing games to last upwards of 30mins. Happens on both sides and is unfun. I'm guilty of doing a hostage doc or two but still, i recognise its unfun nature. This time should be sped up if it detects no hits or actions from players other then movement, and slow down outside of that.
Also survival bloodpoints should be granted (and i cannot stress this enough) from being healed by another player. It would greatly help fill the survival category with how common it is, it makes sense as they are gaining altruisim, and you'd be gaining survival, and would encourage greater amounts of healing over doing the objective. Self caring with either a medkit or perk also works the same way, so im not sure why just waiting and being healed doesn't. thats 300bp x2 for the average amount of heals a match, So its not in any way incredibly powerful.
Bloodpoint cap should also become non restricted during the endgame collapse. the game is already ending already, and it would be a neat way to extend beyond the point of the games restrictions. Sure it might encourage survivors to stick around during the collapse, but then they risk dying so whats the point. If you've already filled your 4 categorys, or are close to filling them, the endgame collapse should allow for an overflow essentially allowing points to be earned past the cap for both sides. it would also buff no one left behind indirectly, as the 100% bonus to altruisim would encourage post game saves for some sweet sweet 4000 bp (which if the cap is maxed and becomes unrestricted is a HUGE bonus.)
