XB1 DEDICATED SERVERS NEED TO BE TURNED OFF IMMEDIATELY
i've never written a post on this forum before, but devs need to hear this. i'm not even sure if this is the correct place for it, but in any case i'd like to hear if anyone else is having problems.
the dedicated servers are EXTREMELY bad. not bad in the way killers are getting hits they shouldn't (which they are), but crazy/ridiculous ways. i just had my 3rd game in a row where i was struggling and died out of nowhere because it refused to register my tapping of A, so i decided to write a post.
last night, as i was playing killer, i put someone on death hook in the basement and went on about my game. at the end of the game i hooked someone and saw through my BBQ that three survivors where running around. what?! huh?! all four where still alive. #########.
as i'm typing this and i paused to play a game, the killer hit me and instantly the game ended. the killer had no time to dc so once again it was the servers. everyone was booted. this is REALLY bad. unplayable bad. i have 1gb down internet so that's not the issue. i play DBD around 10 hours a day (yes, i know i have a problem) for over a year now. i know how things typically run. this needs to be turned off, stat.

I hate the servers. But they're here to stay.

Ummmmm. What's your ping at? I've had decent games, except for one where the killer had a ping of something like 450, when I'm only at 130ish.
It might just be a proximity to the server thing. So far they're not as bad as last time.

i had zero problems last time. was surprised when they said so many people had problems. now i have major problems every match.

So, those problems were kinda an overwhelming majority of the Xbox community's experience last time. The problem was (or so I've heard) is that we were being connected to the wrong servers. If you have a VPN or anything like that, and "change" your location, then that might have something to do with it.

Before Dedicated Servers I was usually getting 60-100 ping with an outlier every few games.
With Dedicated Servers, I'm averaging around 130-180.

no VPN. it's not just me. i have to constantly listen to my teammates say,
"what! the killer warped!"
"what! i dropped the pallet, he hit me, and then after it played the stun sound and animation!"

I'm have a consistent ping of under 100 ( 70-90) on Wi-Fi connection with being a good distance from router and though a few walls. Fast matching and smooth movement over person to person connection.

I’ve had pretty good experiences with the servers so far on Xbox. For one, I can actually play Hag and the game won’t freak out.

Check your ping. Im not having any issues with dedi servers, dh is working fine and im not getting hit through windo2s

Haven’t got a game below 260 ping in Australia, which is worse than last time the servers were active. I’ve just stopped playing because of it. I’m not sure what’s going on, some people find them great, but in Australia they’re awful (I’ve asked a number of people).

Im having no problem with them i am averaging a ping of 30-45 and every game i get is smooth, zero lag.

yay, another day of tapping A for struggle and just dying out of nowhere because the server doesn't pick it up fast enough. hurray.
