Killer DC vs Survivor DC: Gain vs Loss

When a survivor disconnects, the killer receives points.

When a killer disconnects, all 4 survivors receive nothing (I can only speak for my experience on PS4, this may be different on other platforms).

As someone who has lost many hours (queueing and playing) to then be awarded no points / loss of item / loss of offering / loss of a pip, whenever a killer DCs, I can honestly say it's quite frustrating.

I can spend 30+ minutes queueing and playing a game, only to be half way through opening an exit gate when the killer disconnects and I lose everything I had worked hard to get in that match, as well as the item I brought in and the offering I burned (usually a blood point offering).

Will this ever change? Will survivors start being guaranteed their points if a killer disconnects (plus a bonus for the wasted time)?

Considering killers get points for disconnects, it only seems fair that the 4 other people playing should still get points if the killer disconnects. If all 4 survivors DC, the killer still gets points. They may not pip, or lose a pip, but they still have something to show for it.

What are you thoughts on this? 😊
