######### is with all the killing yourself on first hook increase?

It's not fair to the team and in an idea world everyone would play each game out till the end, but how many times do you get hooked, take a look around at what your 3 rando survivors are doing (especially if you havn't played in a while and have slipped down the ranks, but red ranks can be just as bad) and think "nah, this isnt going to end well."

There's no excuse for suicides. It's just unsporting behaviour in regards to teamwork, especially against a face camping killer. Just gives the killer a huge match advantage because of bitter survivors.
Keep on the hook and give your team some help!

It feels like red rank survivors get worse and worse. I’ve had multiple instances recently where I’m chased for a couple of minutes so the match should be off to a good start, but I go down and 0 gens are done and my teammates are all running around doing... I don’t even know what. If that’s the first few minutes of the game I’m sorry but I’m out. If they’re too brainless to even work on gens, literally the easiest task in the game that even a monkey could accomplish, I’m not sticking around.
There are survivors who will kill themselves even if gens are being done and saves are being made and the match is clearly winnable, but I assume they’re either mad about which killer it is or have to go and eat dinner or whatever. Who knows.

My guess is more and more people just aren't having fun with it.

And is a waste of everyone's time, thanks DC ban.

Only way to stop it is reworking the struggle mechanic, which I believe they don’t plan on doing.
Also there are some games where it’s not worth staying. It’s understandable to see people do it when no ones doing gens, Stridor Spirit etc

I only play for fun, i dont care about my rank or how many Bloodpoints i get.
So if i get a bad map or a killer i dont like i just gonna run to the killer and kill myself on my first hook.
When im playing killer and get a bad map i go afk for that game, i dont even wanna try.

sometimes its not the killer that makes survivors quit its other survivors, just saying

You playing Spirit? Cause I don't blame them if you're playing Spirit. Everyone should hook suicide against Spirit. If not idk lol.

Make this man a dev.

Some people don't wanna play against certain killers (due to latency, the fairness/fun of the killer, etc). Sadly, if you're gonna solo queue, you're f*cking over everybody in the process.

Yeah, not in those games. Nobody was playing wrong. I was pressuring gens, 1 got chased, another going for the unhook and that guy suicided on hook.

I was their teammate. I've been maining survivor until Infectious comes into shrine. Everytime I play killer, I seem to get Ormond or Haddonfield which sucks for my Oni.

My recommendation is to play SWF on the official discord (or elsewhere). It's a lot less common for someone to suicide when they're on comms with you.
0 -
But SWF on comms isn't my kind of thing lol. I already SWF, but we don't use comms and there's only 2 of us. But yeah, if my friends get into the game when crossplay comes, I might just do that.

If you play like a d** * I won’t give you further points, either that or team mates are potatoes.
usually it’s killers are being d****

Why all should suicide against Spirit?

Luckily all survivors are saints. :)

Like the most reasons people dced in the past. An unfun killer to go against and/or a team where you literally know very early that you can't win this game. And some people like to have at least some hope that they can survive this (not through the hatch by X gens left, IF theye lucky)
You see how people play and how the killer does and yea. I don't want to engage this behaviour but everytime I want to kill myself and a teamm8 is preventing this I just dc, switch the sides and be an awhole for a few games.
So yea. Maybe they killed themselfs bc they saw how you're playing, or the killer. Maybe in comparison. And they just wanne find another game and hopefully with a realistic chance of winning this round. At least a chance.

I kill myself on first hook if someone DCs or is idle and nothing has gotten done.

personally ive been playing long enough to know if this is a loss or win round within the first 2 minutes of a game, if the killers getting 3-4 hooks by the time 2 gens are done. looks like a lost game imo, not a reason to quit but u know how it is, a lot of people only care about themselves in video games. This is the kind of game where everyones always breaking each others balls haha
personally i consider a good run and still dying a good game.
thats why i dont understand some killers feeling the need to 4k or else they didn't have a good game.

So people stop playing her LOL

Okay then. Maybe all killers should just stop playing if they aren't allowed to play what they like.

I mean if that's your opinion then maybe all killers should just stop playing if they can't play what they like 😂

Now you got it. :)

Not really, it's pretty dumb logic, and an over reaction to what was a joke in the first place :)
0 -
Sorry, I didn't catch your joke.
1 -
No worries. People are free to play what they want lol. I just hate spirit :D

Run SB, Fixated, Iron will (but you probably wont get hit) and Spine chill. One of the best anti-spirit build. No chance she'll hit you since you can just walk away whenever spine chill doesn't light up.

I'll be honest I did this yesterday on the new silent hill map. I really don't like it and I had to deal with spirit so I gave up.
The only other time I'll suicide is if I'm running kindred and no one is doing anything even when the killer has moved on.

If I know I have crappy teammates, I'll do it and move onto a better game. Sometimes you have to sift through the trash to get to the treasure.
1 -
I'll try that out thanks for the suggestion!

Bring a medkit, just in case.
