The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Waited 10 minutes for a game...2 gens down in two minutes.

I dc'd. I wasted enough of my time. Add a hardcore mode that doesnt allow perks or items. This isn't even a competitive game. It's a crap shoot. Enjoy deathgarden 2.0. No more money or time spent by me. Enjoy your increased queue times to the point where you realize you're playing a survivor sided game. As a yellow rank there's no reason for me to go against red and purple ranks when I don't even have all four slots yet. Let the dev's laugh while they roll in money. I work in ems and used to enjoy this game but I can't even play lofi and try to enjoy running around with how quickly things are popping (no add ons btw)

2 gens popped in 2 minutes without add ons?

i legitimately thought it was hacks unless their add ons dont show because i dc'd. They said i should've stayed as i could've changed the game...you cant change the game with zero hooks, zero chases, i only got one hit before my nurses did the whole "im choking on air" thing and the survivor ran upstairs on hawkins. you cant follow up there because theres zero gens to patrol on the upper floor.

i broke off the chase after less then twenty seconds because they ran to an area void of objectives. i was really confused by the lack of add ons because i have hundreds of hours in the game, i didnt even fully patrol all the gens before the first one popped, slapped a survivor once and another one popped so i just wasted my red add ons and dc'd.

Ok holup if I’m reading this right you were nurse with iri add ons? In yellow ranks?

yep. and i got demolished. sorry i spent a 24 hour shift and wanted to blow off steam after. waited ten minutes for a game thinking itd be funny but nah. now im just done with the day and dont even want to go to work. this game isnt an escape. it's a confrontation of the toxic reality we call life.

That is why you lost then her iri add ons hinder you rather then help you and she is already a killer with a high skill gap

Bro I feel like you were the nurse I went up against the other day with these three Neas on Midwich. Probably not but you have a twin who talks and thinks just like you out there who also plays Nurse :0

Anyways, there IS a gen upstairs on Hawkins and almost every single game I play on Hawkins, someone DOES go up there to pop that gen ASAP. It's a bad gen to go out of your way to patrol but it's not a bad idea to finish a chase up there. I might suck at running but if I'm already injured when I go up there, I struggle to stay alive for very long. The vaults and pallet up there can kind of suck.

Is Nurse your only character? She seems like a bad choice as a main unless you have hours and hours of time to dedicate to learning to her :/

It took them 2 whole minutes to complete 2 gens? That's plenty of time.

Also I'd LOVE for this game to become deathguarden 2. That game was awesome.

Can we get a footage so we can see what was the killer doing?

    "Enjoy your increased queue times"

Really ironic, cause killers queue at rank 1 are currently 15+ minutes, lmao

What was the killer doing in those 2 minutes?

I'd suggest a more grounded killer to blow off steam.. especially if your killer of choice is lv. 10 and is regarded as the most difficult killer to master.

I already got kills in the end game as i had only 1 or 2 hooks...

Giving up is not the solution, just learn with the bad games

Beside mmr system is planned for the matchmaking

Sorry that the game doesn't hold your hand and give you the extra time that you need to get your first down.

2 mins is a long time to be in a chase and now at least have a down, but that's not a gen problem.

Pretty standard if they're hitting greats, using Prove Thyself, or running that no-mither gen booster perk set- any combo of these with two survs on two gens will do it.

Don't mess around either OP. My perkset:

*Thanatophobia*: A 4% delay per injured/hooked/downed person. If they bodyblock they've just played themselves. If you get just a single hit off their entire team is punished with time delay buildups. They have to heal to get out of it, but...

*Sloppy Butcher*: Makes them even more foolish if they bodyblock. Adds 4 seconds to a standard one surv healing another. Adds 8 seconds to self healers. Counters first aid kits to a degree. Only countered by Inner Strength as long as there are totems to go around, which requires time, but...

*Dying Light*: Gives the obsession quicker healing and unhooks. If you find them, just slug them and waste their teams time. At top tier its a 3% per hooked non-obsession. You won't notice the effects until you get at least three tokens, but it stacks with Thanatophobia. By the end game they usually have a 20-30% delay on gens. Sometimes more if you're clever. The only thing is that if someone DS' you, they become your new obsession and you have to leave them alone. But if you kill your obsession on accident, DS will give you a new obsession with all of your tokens. The worst thing that can happen with these three perks is that one super-looper with Object of Obsession is hellbent on giving callouts to her buddies and looping you through every single pallet on the map. You might get genrushed, but if you get a single hook it is a huge benefit because...

*Pop Goes the Weasel*: 20 seconds off their victory timer for each hook you get. You can routinely set them back 3-6 hits, that's 1-2 minutes straight off the victory time, not including the stacks to Thanatophobia and Dying Light.

This is kinda a problem with a lot of killers. Making a big deal out of this

The first 2-3 gens don't matter stop throwing hissy fits over them

Yes, no early game should exist. Why the hell is there 5 gens if the first 2-3 don't matter?

If you are really having trouble to win a match, try to tunnel the weakest player down.

After he is on the hook, move to generators were the survivors have worked on, or where it is most likley that they will work on them.

Damage those generators or hunt another survivor down (like someone who is working on the generators at the moment).

After a few minutes return to a area that makes it possible for you to reach the hook in 20 secs or so.

With that you are usually out of range what the tr matters and also what the most survivor perks matters. Usually in that time the survivors have already unhook the hooked survivor, but then you start to hook the unhooker, or the guy who you have already hook before, depends on which of the 2 guys runs in your arms first then.

Works very often, if you run not in a swf.

Edit: On this way you start a cycle that is for many survivor groups hard to survive, without any losses on their side.

Losing two gens early happens a lot if the survivors are smart. There's still plenty of time to come back though. Disconnecting is a cop out. You'll never win if you dont try.

I can relate. Last night had a match against Trapper. Three gens in just over two minutes. He was setting up half the time, then spotted me on a gen, and I led him through the bus and nearby T wall for maybe 30 seconds.

Ding, Ding, Ding. I felt bad for the guy.

You do realise that the game is even more survivor sided without perks and addons?

2 minutes for 2 gens? Thats literally fine, if you cant pressure going in that amoutn of time, its probably not "muh gen speeds"

also, DCing when 2 gens popped omegalul

Losing 2 gennys is not the end of the game.

As an oni main i can 4k with 2 gens popped by my first hook. You have to try hard though.

I had to tunnel a claudy when I was playing deathslinger, they popped 4 gen, but I didn't give up, I killed them all with 1 gen left...

My build was: STBLF, PGTW, BBQ and nurse's

The first 2 gens taking only 2 mins is fine.

Its only an issue once 3-4 gens pop in 2 mins.

Tunneling then is necessary to get one out of the game. You did a good job, you got a 4k with the odds stacked against you.

I mean you're right, but I feel bad for her :( she was a baby claudette self caring in the corner of the map, but she was the gen jockey, so I sadly had to tunnel her

Baby clauds are so cute but if they do gens they gotta go.
