Plenty of people on these forums like to act like just because there are 4 survivors to 1 killer that it must be the survivors fault for the toxicity, or that because the potential ratio of toxic survivors to toxic killers means that saying that both sides can be as bad as each other is insulting.
Like he slugged at 5 gens, and people say hey, that's not fun, so he makes it seem like people are whining about being killed. No, they just wanted to actually be able to play the game. You gonna tell me getting only 2k points is fun? That everyone got the most out of that round after probably having to sit in a queue for 5 mins minimum? Prob more?

All i am gathering here is survivors being self entitled demanding the killer plays to their liking and because the killer dominated at 5 gens you had a fit and even dc'd. Slugging doesnt make killers asshats lol. Plus they got 17k pts so they probably secured a safety pip or even a pip so thats either a win or draw for them, probably a draw because you decided to dc

So you think getting slugged at five gens, getting at max 8k points, at min 2k, aka not even being able to play the game is fun? That someone should, "keep their opinion to their self" when someone plays in a way seemingly just to prevent the other side from getting a chance to? People criticize survivors for doing it all the time, purposely setting out to bully the other side, but when a killer does it you can't criticize their playstyle, because reasons.

So if and when you play survivor, and the killer slugs everyone, before they even have a chance to really do ANYTHING, you'd have fun? No chases, no pallet drops, no saves, no heals, no getting to feel your adrenaline pumping? No interaction? Because that's what videogames are for. Fun. People want to actually be able to play.
No slugging doesn't make them asshats, I didn't say that (thanks for putting words in my mouth), but are you telling me that you'd have fun getting slugged at five gens? Not getting to do anything but play slug simulator? Crawl around until he picked you up, IF he picks you up, you queue for minutes and get a match that lasted probably just as long.
If it's not fun for killers to be genrushed (and it's not) then its not fun for survivors to all be slugged at 5 gens.
Slugging is a good move for applying pressure, but what pressure needs to be applied when nobody's had a chance to DO anything yet?

Whether it is fun or not is completely irrelevant as the purpose of Killer is to kill that is the game. Sure it "may" not be fun for survivor but that's just the way it is, move on to the next game. You don't see sweaty 4 mans at high level running all the meta perks, map offerings, tea bagging, clicking flashlights thinking they are top ######### caring for the killers fun so why should killer care for survivor fun? Literally watch any recent TrU3Ta1ent video of him going against toxic 4 mans to see where i am coming from.
Keep in mind also this guy even picked a map (Silent Hill map) that i'd say counters Billy so he even put himself at a disadvantage. Maybe they just wanted a quick game to try out the Billy changes? Maybe they had to go out and wanted to end the game quick? Maybe they wanted to feel like the power role still with a nerfed killer? Maybe they just wanted to dominate (which they did).

Okay you obviously need reading comprehension. He slugged everyone, at five gens. There was no more match to be had. He was just hooking everyone, even if somebody kobied (if) the match was over. Done. Finito. How is that the SURVIVOR ruining the match? THERE WAS NO MORE MATCH.
Nobody mentioned the "Survivor Rulebook for Killers" until you my dude. If you read any of my other comments in this post you'd see that I said slugging is a good tool for applying pressure, but what pressure is needed to be had when NOBODY HAS EVEN FINISHED A GEN.

But I think texting another player and insulting them because you lost , is more ignorant than slugging in a video game that is designed to allow it.

I have a question for you: Have you ever genuinely done anything to make sure the KILLER has fun? If so how often?
If not then you can't complain about the killer not caring about your fun when you don't care about theirs.
"Do onto others what you want done onto you" Aka if you play while ignoring how much fun the killer is having they have full right to treat you the same.

He was Leatherface, his name mentioned Billy. So what do people play games for then if not to have fun? Well the survivors' objective is to survive. Honestly that argument is so flawed. People can stop getting mad at 4 man SWF uber squads then, because they're just doing all they can to survive. Who cares if the killer doesn't get to play, gets completely bullied, or to have any fun? They're just doing their objective after all!

There are people who play games to literally have an ego boost. DbD is a game that is not high skill capped at all which means literally any person and their grandma can get the idea of the game in a couple of hours. Because of this and Survivor being as easy as it is currently means 4 man bully squads can pull it off with barely any brain required as they use things they shouldnt to their advantage such as stretched resolution. Do those people care? No because they need their highlight compilations for their 1 YT viewer.
While yes the survivors objective is to survive in this game regardless of how it went down you failed that task. Did the killer kill? Yes. Watch this also become more common of a playstyle when MMR comes into it as when that happens there is literally no reason for Ranks to even be in the game, No ranks means no reason to commit to 12 hooks. People have no idea how much MMR will not fit into DbD.

I don't think it was my teammates though, like we tried to help each other, but it was a combination of the map (being able to get to another survivor on that map is a nightmare) and his choice to slug everyone then hook. Like you get someone up he just chainsaws you both down. It was just an unwinnable clusterfuck from the time he managed to down the two people working on the gen together.

I mean Ruin is pretty much useless now, it doesn't need to be cleansed at all. As long as you can stay on a gen uninterrupted there's nothing to worry about.

My point was that the argument was flawed for both sides. When a survivors complains " I didn't have any fun" everyone and their mother likes to chime in, "Well it's the killer's OBJECTIVE to kill"
Okay so if the killer complains about not having any fun and survivors say, "Well it's the survivor's OBJECTIVE to survive" then suddenly that's bad and wrong. It's either true for both sides or true for neither.
Okay and bully squads are #########, I am agreeing that they are unmitigated #########. But if a killer manages to do the same thing they're magically not an #########?
