MMR, for the killer players
Judging by what I have seen from content creators and some posts then I know this wont help everyone but I hope it will help some, and in turn help survivors get better matches as well. I know its not working for everyone but it has been working suprisingly well for me, especially today.
What you all have to remember, or understand if you dont know already, is that mmr is specific to the killer you are playing. As far as we have been told (and personal experience) you have to play the same killer a lot of times to get proper matches, but only for that killer.
As an example I had to play 4-5(someone dc'd the game before so dont know how that would have went) trapper games before I started getting placed against survivors that made me fight for my kills. I did the same with wraith, Clown, Huntress and Oni. While on other killers I was getting rather fair matches from the get go.
Some of you alreadt know this, but it seems a lot of you dont. Considering I have personally informed a lot of individuals how the system is supposed to work. Now whether it works for them or not I cant guarantee considering how many people its been failing. But one things for sure, if it works, then its gonna take a long time to get good matches if you keep switching killer.

We got a user here on the forums who have played a shitload of Wraith since the implementation of the new MMR system and he's still being matched against newbies. We're seeing streamers, who play the game for a living (Fog Whisperers and otherwise), being matched against newbies despite playing the game all day long.
The new MMR system does not work as intended!

For some it doesnt as I said, and I know that. But a lot of people didnt realise that its killer specific. I simply mentioned that to at least lessen some confusion. Btw a mod mentioned that they have noticed errors and have implemented some fixes and adjustments on their end, so it might work for more people today. She did say that they are still keeping an eye on it.
But I recall Scott Jund saying that he was getting pretty good matches on killers he played a lot, and I recall Otz getting good matches on some of the killers he played a lot (not his trapper tho for some reason lol). So it wasnt totally broken, but it was certainly busted enough to create a ton of unfair games.
The first many of my early games was horribly unfair too, but they started getting better. As I said I dont expect it to help everyone. Was merely a hope it would help some.

I just had a match where I was matched with rank 17-20 survivors and killer. I’m rank 1.
My entire team was just noobs. I could tell from the way they played too. One of them was brand new, too scared to do much of anything so she was of no help. She just hid. Other teammates were roughly the same.
I don’t wanna call them useless because they’re noobs. Still learning. But for me to get matched with them is super annoying. I can’t carry the whole damn team.
So no. It’s not working :/

Better play versus noobs with wraith, than to play against good survivors and get destroyed. The MMR does not work.
