Hawkins Closed Doors

Hey, so lately I've noticed that when I play on Hawkins there are plenty of those door/gate things that are not connected to any gens.
I used to think to find doors I'd have to find those doors (like on The Game) and I remember it being like that when the map got released. Lately though, there are plenty of those doors that are not connected to gens and some do not open when you finish the gen next to it.
Is this a bug? Or am I remembering wrong and the doors have always been like that?
