Why Spirit's sword shatter animation while carrying surv and hit object was deleted?

When Shattered Bloodline DLC was relesed on PTB, Spirit had really cool animation. While carrying survivor on shoulder, when she hit any object her sword was shattered. Here is a clip from Twitch that I've found: https://clips.twitch.tv/RefinedBumblingMoosePicoMause
When DLC was relesed on live servers, that animation was deleted. Was it intentional, or just a bug? I think this animation is really cool and it should have be in game, not only when she carries a survivor, but always when she misses her attack and hits object.

I noticed it was missing too. It's a real shame because it was a lovely animation and I wished it would happen when just hitting an object in general.
