Literally had 3 people escape due to one despite playing well, get rid of them please :)

Don't worry they'll be changed in about 4 months be patient :)

Yeah they're dumb. They tend to grind the game to halt as all the survivors stop doing objectives to immerse and find hatch. Just really bad gameplay.
