CHAPTER CONCEPT: JENNIFER'S BODY™

I read CaptainSadist concept for the Jennifer's Body DLC and I was inspired! I really loved the idea of Hex: Cross Out, so I had to use it! So thank you!

“A young woman lay on the floor, her finger circling the dirt as if jaded by the impenetrable fog around us. At first I believed her to be the new offering- another plaything tossed into the Entities realm. I spoke up, asking her name. She remained silent, as if disgusted by my presence. A dark feeling resided in my stomach, yet I prodded, not wanting such a young soul to be alone in such a horrid place. I asked again. This time, she stood up, her back arched slightly, hands to her sides- painted fingernails like claws. I stumbled away, repulsed by her face; A torn mouth stretched to her neck… sharp fangs dripping with drool. I ran as far as I could. Those teeth plague me in the dead of night… but her eyes were so beautiful, as if holding some remnant of a human self…” - Unknown (Potentially Benedict Baker)

 

Overview:

The Body is a pitiless assassin, hellbent on keeping up her beautiful image. Her normal physique and build trick the survivor into a false sense of security before she uses her allure to take them down. Her appeal is inescapable, and the survivor falls victim to her charm.

Her personal perks ‘Best Friends Forever’, ‘Snowflake Queen’ and ‘Hex: Cross Out’ allows her to pressure the survivors into working separately and take advantage of the altruistic ones.

Difficulty Rating: Intermediate

 

Lore:

Devils Kettle was a senseless place. A small, midwestern town in the middle of nowhere only, known for the waterfall and its endless pit. Or that was until the night Melody Lane burnt down. That same evening, indie band Low Shoulder began their search for the perfect sacrifice and found it in Jennifer Check.

Jennifer was the person everyone either wanted to be or be with. Snowflake Queen and head of the Flag Team, this Devils Kettle resident was the queen bee of high school. The evening of the incident, Low Shoulder came to town and performed. Their music lulling Jennifer into a trance. That evening, after the fire, she was sacrificed. But she didn’t die. No, she became something evil… Something wicked.

Her insatiable need to eat boys kept her vibrant and beautiful but her divine link to her best friend, Needy, was her demise.

As Needy stabbed Jennifer’s heart to defeat the beast she had become, Jennifer awoke in the fog. There she was strong. There she got attention. There no one could stop her. 

And it seemed those sat around the campfire were just as hungry for a second chance as she was.

 

The Body’s Perks:

After achieving Level 30, Teachable versions of these Perks can be found:

Best Friends Forever

Your knowledge of backstabbers keep you alert.

When downing a survivor that is not the Obsession with basic attack, the Obsessions aura is revealed to you for 2/4/6 seconds.

Snowflake Queen

They benefited from your demise, but you won’t let that happen again.

When a survivor takes a protection hit for an injured survivor, they suffer from the broken status effect for 5/10/15 seconds. 

Snowflake Queen has a cooldown of 60 seconds.

Hex: Cross Out

You of all people know how one person can halter a perfect plan.   

Whilst the Hex totem is standing the Obsession suffers from the oblivious and exposed status for the duration that the Hex totem remains. The Obsession has a 1/3/5% speed decrease for healing, sabotaging, unlocking, unhooking, repairing, and opening.

Only the Obsession is alerted to Hex: Cross Out.

Once the Hex totem is destroyed, Hex: Cross Out is eliminated.

Weapon:

Low Shoulders ‘Bowie Knife’. 

Power: Hopeless

“She grew up beautiful. Oh, what having a pretty face could get you away with! She knew of her effects on others and revelled in it. She used it to get what she wanted.”

After hitting a survivor with basic attack once, press and hold the active ability button to initiate Hopeless. Hopeless put the survivor into a trance, suffering from the oblivious status effect, the edge of their screen foggy and pink. they escape your grasp they have a 30 seconds to be broken from the trance by another survivor. Failing to do so leaves them vulnerable and craving the attention of The Body. Their aura will become highlighted, and they will gain the broken status until the trance is broken- their aura can be seen across the map by both Survivors and The Body.

If they are the sole survivor, they gain sudden hope. They must complete skill checks to break Hopeless, but their obsessive thoughts of The Body will silence skill check alerts.

Name: Needy Lesnicki

Gender: Female

Nationality: American

Role: Tainted Best Friend

Overview:

Needy Lesnicki is a tainted best friend, merciless in her attempts to survive and save others.

Her personal perks ‘Sandbox Love’, ‘Kicker’ and ‘Killer Mindset’ allow her to aid those in trouble, fight back and trick the killer.

Lore:

Needy Lesnicki had always been the clever one. Wise beyond her years and resilient, she was a great best friend. Despite being in Jennifer’s shadow, she didn’t mind it for they had something greater than a friendship. It was a connection larger than themselves. So, when Jennifer began changing, Needy was the first to notice. Dull and lifeless, Jennifer wasn’t the beauty queen she once was. Seeking answers, Needy sacrificed everything she had to find out what had changed Jennifer… but what she found seemed to be her downfall.

The night of prom, Needy found Jennifer’s sharp teeth wedged deep into her boyfriend’s throat. It seemed the sweet, quiet girl had retreated. In her place was a resilient fighter, stopping at nothing to protect the innocent people of Devils Kettle.

She took it into her own hands to kill whatever was left of Jennifer. If there was anything left…

She was admitted into a psychiatric hospital for Jennifer’s murder. Known for being violent, she was never the same. But there was still one thing left to do. One thing to help her get over the trauma.

After brutally murdering the members of Low Shoulder, those that turned her best friend into the monster that she became, she disappeared. Waking up next to a campfire in an alternate reality, she was unphased; prepared, once again, to defeat whatever evil lay through the trees.

Sandbox Love:

You were best friends. Inseparable until the incident.

During end game collapse, if you and the Obsession are still standing, you are able to see each other’s auras. During this time, you both are affected.

Pools of blood and scratch marks disappear 2/3/4% faster than normal and loud noises have a 40/50/70% chance of being silenced.

Your chances of being the obsession decreases.

Kicker:

Your fury is untameable.

The killers speed is slowed by 1/2/3% when you are being carried to a hook.

Killer Mindset:

You were bitten by a demon and survived. It made you resilient…but now you know what they know.

When your aura is revealed to the killer, they also see a fake one located 40/30/20metres away from them. Killer Mindset causes scratch marks and a loud noise to occur at the site of the fake aura that remain for 3/4/5 seconds.

Killer Mindset has a cooldown of 60 seconds.

She got revenge for Jennifer… now what?

Her eyes sore from crying, she was trapped inside the drab walls.

The orange t-shirt they give to newbies at the psych ward.

They were the only thing that brought her comfort. Still, it was a reminder that he was gone…

 

Legendary Outfit: 80’s Disaster

Description:

Prom is supposed to be a night of joy. For Needy, however, it was the worst night of her life.

Head:

80’s Hair

Needy had more pressing matters to worry about than her messy hair. 

Torso:

Puffy Sleeves

Big, poufy sleeves that served as a hindrance.

Legs:

Drop-Waist

A giant dress making running near impossible.

 

Christmas Sweater: Code- BESTFRIEND or BFF

·        A pink sweater reminiscent of her legendary outfit.

·        Design on the front would be the heart locket that they both wore.

·        On the back it would say; BFF
