Literally unplayable. Every game is like just a 6000+ sweaty killer, either a clown with pinky finger, a huntress with Iri hatchets, spirit's freddy's..... everyone is dying at like one gen done, slug for that 4k and all that.

There is no point to playing any of these games like holy cow.

It's such a polar opposite of what I was getting when I queued as killer. @_@

Yeah, this is just garbage I am going to wait until tomorrow before playing survivor again. Holy cow this is just dreadfully awful.

I have the opposite experience at the red ranks. Usually I die but now I escaped 80% of trials. This is so strange.

MMR can take a bit to be accurate. Yesterday I played four trials as a survivor and escaped in three of them, go figure. It was especially funny in the second or third trial because I'd been reset to rank 20 (long absence) and there were green and red rank survivors, but I had the highest score.

It's been really all over the place for me. I've had some of the best games i've had in a long time and some of the worst. I think it's a positive thing tho, almost anything is better than the old system.

    Survivor has just been awful.

If the MMR when it goes live is like this I honestly won't even play the game anymore, at least not as survivor.

i just got killed by a r20 who stood at the exit line while i ran the killer over the hatch multiple times. Then they stayed there while i was on the hook and didn't leave till they could tbag the killer

I thought we didn't have robots in this game.

My survivor games have been shockingly bearable.

By that I mean one reasonably skilled survivor (me), one average survivor, and 2 bad survivors, usually offset by a slightly below average killer. Been 2k2e for most of the night when I played (which admittedly wasn't much because 30 minute queue times lmao). There was this one huntress game though where she was so clearly more skilled than anyone else except me in the trial (and my word did her awful Internet carry her lol) which was still a 3k1e through the gates because I could distract her long enough.

In both cases for me (killer and survivor) I've faced opponents who were below the typical skill level I would usually face.

For killer, this makes sense. I'm not a great killer, but I am decent with the few I play regularly, to the point where I reached rank 6 as a killer, which made it impossible for me to try out other killers without facing sweaty flashlight mobs.

I played a few matches as the Spirit, and got a mix of purple, green and yellow survivors, who were clearly not potatoes, but I did find it relatively easy to down them all, probably because I'm used to sweating against rank 1s. Then I tried out Bubba, a killer I have barely any experience with, and got mainly brown ranks. That was fine, because I can't work his chainsaw for ######### so I'm basically a M1 killer.

Killers also seemed middle of the range. I pretty much always play as a SWF with the same three friends, who are a mix of red, purple and green ranks with me in the green. We usually get rank 1s who wipe the floor with us (I blame the red rank for it every time), but today it was more... balanced? Some green ranks, some yellows, and one brown.

What I take away from this, is that the metrics used for the new SBM, have deemed me and my friends to be of a lower 'skill level' than our ranks suggest. Is this accurate? ...probably not entirely. While the matchmaking was 'better' for me/us, the matches were probably not so fair on the other side. While we didn't all escape all of the killer matches, I did pretty much wipe the floor with everyone as a killer.

I am at red ranks as survivor and i get constantly matched with survivors rank 15+.

While some might argue that this is no sign of MMR not working (yes, high ranks mean nothing), i am the only one that knows how to repair a gen. And if i bring an aura perk, there is one or two just hidding the whole game, doing nothing (except maybe unhooks if the killer goes away).

What does this have to do with bots?

sounds like your typical random teammate, nothing extraordinary.

    Haven't tried it as Survivor.

Just bought and played Oni for the first time tonight though, and I got some appropriately skilled matches, which is to say Rank 20's, so that was nice.

Played Legion next and oh boy, I have never had to sweat so hard in my life.
