3 ways to always tell Freddy's fake pallets from real ones
Use small game, it actually detects his pallets.
Use a map with the red twine addon, maps actually mark his fake pallets (I am not sure if they work on his snares though).
And probably the least known one... You can actually look at the fake pallets to tell them apart. Fake pallets are brighter than real ones, almost like a slight ghosty (not as in ghostface) tint to them, real ones just look dark.

it detects totems, hag and trapper traps and pallets. It can work well in some totem builds

I've noticed that pallets kind of vibrate in place recently. Idk if that's because of the graphic rework but I only started noticing it probably a couple months ago. I wonder if fake pallets do the same

If only maps where more easly to get :( ... We have 5 different toolboxes that hardly do anything differently not to mention how boring they are but maps that have so much more usage get just 2 qualities that are red and green that we hardly see on the webs

The ultimate counter to Dream Pallets: Just don't use pallets at all :DDDDDDDDD
I found Any Means Necessary to be a useful perk for countering them though, once it charges up you can drop a pallet. If it's fake, then good! If it's real, then oops, but don't worry, I can pick it back up!
