We should give BHVR more positive feedback
I already made a simalar post but holy the Coldwind rework honestly looks amazing and it is shaping up like BHVR are going to make 2 great patches in a row. I have made many complaint on the forums before but I genuinely never see any positivity and I think recently BHVR is making great changes to the game.

Yeah, from what I've seen on thier Twitter, the new map updates look sick.
Edit: I hope they do decide to put in the cool little details like the pig and the dead guy nailed to the wall in the Thompson House. That'd be so awesome.

exactly a day map is something I never thought we would see and honestly it look gorgeous. Some people might whine about it being not has horror but I am not a fan of scary things (even thought I have almost 1k hours in DBD) and think that its nice they are somewhat moving away from horror and more towards just killers and survivors. You can be a killer without being scary like trickster and I think thats kinda nice to highlight. Not all murders happen because of some big buff dude with bear traps wearing a bone mask on a dark abandonned school some happen by a touring Kpop star or on an abandoned farm. I like the shift away from the horror emphasis. Sure this game will always be somewhat tied to horror and will probably get many more horror icons over the years but I think that the gameplay and aesthetics is more important than the horror.

If BHVR want's more positive feedback from me then they need to do a better job. The last 2 chapters were awful and filled with bugs. Yes they can't exactly know how buggy a patch will be until it launches but my god. Do they even test their own game? Who thought the trickster was good enough to ship? A ton of people gave feedback on the PTB and they did NOTHING. Issues that have been in the game for years are still not resolved. But hey "ohhh look at the new map"
I do give them praise for finally nerfing DS. Only took them 4 years but I was glad they did that. I'm still waiting on the fixes to Nurse's bugs that were introduced in her rework.

The last chapter has 4 notable bugs. The pallet one which will hopefully be fixed in the upcoming bugpatch. The spirit fury one which is just tied to a single teachable perk. The super dark bug which even though I played 50 hours in the last 2 weeks I found only once. There is also the shelter woods one but that is a single map on a single realm.

Yeah, I've only been around playing this game for a short while really. (Only started last October.)
They could definitely still use some more bugfixes for certain. But that doesn't takeaway the excitement of the map update for me.
I just hope that by sorting out Blight's POV and nerfing DS, they can get the ball rolling with extra bugfixes and overall improvement to the games health.

I feel mixed on these opinions yes I do agree the devs deserve positive feedback when they implement something cool, unique, and likeable for the community. However I will not give them positive feedback when they add terrible additions, that nobody inherently asked for.

Bugs don't bother me personally, albeit unless they are game breaking ones that take no time to catch. What bothers me is blatant ignoring of feed back and 0 communication. It feels like getting a loot crate almost every time there is a new release or a patch because I feel like up until PTB, which we have since discovered are evidently useless, nobody has any clue what's going to be happening or why.
For example, why are killers becoming more and more underwhelming? Does BHVR think they are too strong? Do they want the game to be more balanced towards a certain result each game that we are unaware of?
Why are survivor perks becoming more and more niche and the current meta not changing for them?
What is the grand design they hope to achieve? What is the big picture?
Why are perks still effectively locked behind pay walls?
Why do we have PTB's if the feedback is useless?
Where is the emblem system changes?
What is the goal with MM?
Why are there still useless perks in the game after 4 years?
How do they plan to increase player retention while not solely on siphoning in folks who play for 100 hrs and stop?
How can they make the game more rewarding for people who get tunneled for 5 gens and camped?
How can they add more incentive for interaction between survivor and killers instead of hold M1 speed running through a game?
TLDR:
Where's the communication?
What's the goal?
What's the end experience that you are moving towards?
How are you working to improve the health of the game?

Why are survivor perks becoming more and more niche and the current meta not changing for them?
-You say this as the no1 survivor perk got changed and the meta is shifting. Also another super powerful meta perk has a rework soon.
For example, why are killers becoming more and more underwhelming?
-Blight is a very strong killer and twins are OK even when you dont play like an #########, they also just buffed argueably the weakest killer. Its better to have a killer weak on release than absolutely busted and OP. Also trickster buffs got announced in record time.
What is the grand design they hope to achieve? What is the big picture?
-2 kills 2 escapes they already said this a lot of times.
Why are perks still effectively locked behind pay walls?
-Liscenced chapters sure but that is because they are extremely expensive for BHVR and the liscence holders need money from the chapters too. Most games dont have a free way of getting DLCs and DBD does even if it is grindy at least its there.
What is the goal with MM?
-Putting equally skilled players against eachother same as every other MM system.
-Where is the emblem system changes?
I haven't seen many request for it tbh and emblems wont matter anymore except for BP after MMR.
-Why are there still useless perks in the game after 4 years?
There are some weak perks but most have some very specific niche use none are completely useless. Yes more of them should be used but there is so many perks it would be a pain in the ass to go through them all and buff/nerf them. They even changed some of these perks in the last midchapter they buffed like 8 perks or something.
How do they plan to increase player retention while not solely on siphoning in folks who play for 100 hrs and stop?
-I mean iri shards are an incentive for long term grinding. Even if its a bit slow there is consistent updates. New killers and perks for each side at a reliable time. The game is easy to learn but harder to master. There is almost always a rift going on which is another thing for dedicated players to earn rewards from.
How can they add more incentive for interaction between survivor and killers instead of hold M1 speed running through a game?
-Did you forget about chases?
How can they make the game more rewarding for people who get tunneled for 5 gens and camped?
-killer get punished and depips if you are good at survivor and climb ranks you will stop running into them as often. Yes its an issue but unfortunetly the devs don't seem pushed to change it.
Where's the communication?
-They have QnA streams pretty often and their twitter give s a lot of teasers for updates.
How are you working to improve the health of the game?
-This is the major focus of midchapters, this most recent patch has probably been one of the least buggy chapters too.
