Is new object going to become a meta?

Basically i can explain why. If you can last enough 30 seconds in a chase and the killer mindgames you, you can see his aura and he can see yours. So it could disregard mindgames for every 30 seconds IF YOU ARE THE OBSESSION, what do you think?

but having it go off exactly when you need it, on a 30 second cycle is pretty situational. A lot of the times there are corners you can stand at and watch the killer, or taking a loop wide to make a fast vault. I'm glad it got changed, but I don't think it's going to be meta when you can use spine chill, 36 m (out ranges whispers) and gives you another passive to help in chases.

That extra periodic info is great, but since you no longer have any control over it, it can be a detriment. So it's much more risky now.

Now, the other aspect of knowing when your aura is read to scout out killer perks (plus the nifty little reciprocal read) is gonna put Distortion out of business, but it never had particularly good business in the first place, so.

Hardly. They managed to buff the perk in SQ while nerfing it SWF.

The main advantage of running it in SQ is to get info on the killer's toolkit, but it puts you in a precarious position if you're the obsession in a 2v1 or 1v1. Some people might run it over kindred tho.

Every SWF team will have at least one user, also to access info on the killer perks, but the days stalking killers are gone.

I will definetly use new object. Might actually be pretty fun to use.

I don't really see it becoming meta but I am personally interested in trying it out now it isn't going to be somewhat absurdly powerful.

I don't think it'll be meta but I think it's far healthier for the game on both sides. So I genuinely won't mind seeing it.

As an avid Distortion user, this perk change seems like a fun way to spice things up a bit.
