How'd we miss this change?
According to the patch notes, every game will have an obsession.
Although this doesn't seem like much, this is actually really good. Why?
It discourages killers from tunneling.
When there is no obsession, the killer knows tunneling will be easier. Every time someone brings DS, there will always be an obsession in the game, which discourages killers from tunneling because of how unpredictable it is. HOWEVER, DS is no longer required to guarantee an obsession in the game, making it completely unpredictable for killers!
Of course tunneling is still a necessary aspect of the game, but I'm really happy for this change, even if it ain't much. Thoughts?

All I heard the last few weeks is killers tunnel regardless of DS.

Killers still need to tunnel sometimes, in situations where it's absolutely necessary. But oh well, your opinion I reckon.

Played killer for about 2 hours, then got tunneled off each hook state on my first survivor game... Went back to killer.
