Is Doctor's iridescent queen any good?
I have a huge stash of iridescent queens sitting around on the Doc and I really don't find that extra screaming really useful. Is it any good at all?

It's decent you can certainly use it well. Honestly all his add-ons are good it just depends on what play style you're going for. If you're going for a madness build then yeah its pretty aight. But again it just depends on what kind of build you want. So in essence yeah its pretty good.

I find IQ fun. I especially like hooking someone who's been zapped, and then hearing the scream when someone gets near to unhook. Gives you that extra bit of warning of the unhook. When QA first said, "Oh hey, this happens on unhooks, is that intended?" The answer was, "No, that wasn't intended, but it's awesome and we're keeping it." :D

On it's own? It's ok I guess. It really depends on which addons you combine it with. I tend to only use it with restraint or king.

I love both of Doc's Iri addons. Hearing the random screams from people going to unhook or help on a gen or go heal someone is really fun. It's nice because a lot of times I'll go against a team with one stealthy survivor who I don't usually see. The arc will get them a lot of times and start them on the madness tiers without me needing to hit them as long as a teammate gets close to them.
I also tend to only use it with Iri king but if you have a ton of them then there's plenty of fun to be had!

It kind of reminds me of Plague without Plague being a thing. It's bad if you're trying to keep survivors in T2, but it's good for random detection (both the screaming and illusionary doctors on survivors you haven't actually met yet), and slowdown from tripping T3 way more often than you would otherwise. It can also be good for determining when survivors are meeting together - like, unhooks are obvious, but those sudden zaps can alert you to a group gen or a heal. It's also a good warning if you're slugging, since you'll hear it when someone comes to pick up your slug.
I don't think it's as good as Iri King, but it's a good addon nonetheless.

I run it because I think it's funny. I don't know how much it actually helps me -- maybe occasionally it shows me where someone's healing.
