What the ######### bhvr
I’m genuinely so ######### upset right now. I play this game constantly and love i through all of its flaws, but the servers need to be fixed. I have been kicked from four separate games due to the game closing down and not my internet shutting down and yet I still get a dc penalty for it. I understand giving a penalty for my internet shutting down but when my side is fine and the games themselves are shutting down I shouldn’t be removed from playing the game for 72 ######### hours. I’m genuinely so upset atm because this is like the only game I play and the fact that I constantly get punished by the game for just trying to play is absurd. It’s not even like I can send a request to get the ban removed since they don’t remove dc bans even if it’s their own fault. This is just super infuriating and they need to fix it now.

How many games did you get kicked from to get to a 72-hour penalty?

I don’t think its the servers if you have a 72 hour ban

I said before they put the DC penalty in, "Please differentiate between someone pressing 'leave match' and their Internet going out. It's easy." And they didn't do it, so now we have to see several posts like this in a week.

Did you overclock your cpu? My cpu degraded and only this game was crashing at the clock speed i was running. Windows stayed open and other games functioned normally but DB would randomly crash.

That was happening to me and I refuse to play dbd on it because it DC me from games until I hit a 1 hour ban...only xbox for me now

yes that CAN be done and I think that should be done so that it can be dealt with more harshly. but the other aspect is not being able to differentiate between network instabilities or a person pulling their internet connect or shutting the game down themselves. that is something that also needs to be dealt with but it can not determine that so everything is considered.

That's dumb. You can just unplug the system and get out without using the button

You try to appeal your DC ban here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000836752 There is a section for it in support.
I will lock the thread and refer you also to the technical forum, as you seem to be experiencing technical issues: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues Make a thread here, a mod might be able to help you. Please try to resolve your issues first, if nothing works, you can still send a ticket to support later requesting technical help, but I recommend trying the sub-forum first.
It's been explained before that systems like this generally can't tell the difference between an intentional or accidental disconnect/crash (e.g. internet outage, error in the game, etc.), as there are ways to intentional ones at accidents. Hence why the penalty starts slow and increases slowly and steadily, so players can try to resolve their issue first instead of continuously trying to play the game if they know they experience issues. It still ruins the game for other people, even if it's accidental.
