Please don't ruin Resident Evil.
This is unacceptable. I did not just pay 5 dollars for Jills default hair, which came in a 12 dollar chapter. BHVR needs to say something about this. The fact that you're only giving people refunds who got the set before it was linked is stupid. I didn't realize it was the same hair until my friend pointed out, and then when you start to compare impervious agent to the base jill outfit, there is so much copy and pasted stuff. It's stupid. Making me pay like 10 dollars (on top of the 12 dollar chapter of course) for a shirt and pants, which are literally just 40% copy and pasted.
BHVR. You have so many options. Add some dirt to her face. Add some blood to her face. Give her a hat. Literally takes a miniscule amount of time like that, we're not expecting anything big. But at least make buying the damn outfit worth it. Give her a different hair color. Make her hair beat up. Literally unlink JUST THE HEAD so we can wear the prestige three face with it. Then, you also wont be forced to buy her default hair with a purple background slapped onto it instead of grey. So dumb. These are small updates that will ease so much nerves. Just do it. You guys can rework Johnathon, you can rework Jill/Leon and fix Claire's face and legs. This chapter will be so much better if you listen to the community and put in some effort. Sure, you can fix all the lag and crashing; But what if you're not experiencing that? Then you get to realize how much of a flop this update is turning out to be.
This is my second rant on the matter. But this has significantly ruined an update that I was super hyped for. And so much other people, too. Fricking resident evil. In dead by daylight. And they flopped it. So sad and embarrassing. Hopefully they prove that they do care about us- and not just the money by fixing what I mentioned. Ontop of all the crashing and lag. Which, tbh, I feel like is going to suppress the issues I stated cause they only focus on one thing at a time it seems. Then brush the others under the rug. Remember Quentin's facial rework? Hit validation? Wouldn't necessarily save the update if they fix the things I mentioned, but at least save the re chapter as a whole from being a huge cash grab. (Or at least not a being super obvious cash grab)
This is the second time ive posted this rant, as it wouldnt show up on this discussions page. The only way we can get them to change their mistakes is contantly pointing them out.

Can these posts please stop pretending like they know what Capcom did, and didn’t authorise as part of the licensing agreement!
These choices/decisions are NOT 100% all on the shoulders of BHVR.

The price could be on bhvr tho. You can't charge the full price for two set pieces instead of 3. It doesn't seem right.

Yea, but bhvr is the one who decided to sell the default face 100%. Thats the most bhvr thing to ever do. Look at the classic ghostface outfit. At least its not linked tho.

They can’t just have it so that only the bottoms and the torso are a set, incase BHVR & Capcom DO release further character cosmetics down the line. IP holders are always sensitive about the misrepresentation of their IP, and it’s very likely that Capcom do NOT want a RE3 Jill body with a RE1 beret Jill head (in theory if such a skin were released).
Capcom would have made it 100% strictly crystal clear as to how they want their characters to look, and strictly restricted to that and that only. It doesn’t matter that we only have 1 Jill Head ATM. There could be different Jill heads down the line.

Ohh I see. They knew what they were doing making us pay basically 5 dollars for a head, but what you've said it makes sense. I've relaxed now, but man was I pissed about it earlier. Thanks for saying this though, gives me hope that I can mix a Jill head with an outfit. I think its more of how boring it is that its not a new head more than it being 5 dollars.
