Be warned of Gen rushed and survivors teleporting
I know some of you may not think that gen rushing is a thing but it is. Latey for me when everyone is popping cakes and I like oh cool points but seriously why the sweat fest for gens? I mean I know I have to bring a ton of slow downs and that it’s really hard to play on console considering all the teleporting that’s been going around. I mean I play on ps4 but geez slow it down. Sorry for the rant but I thought it was a little unfair.

With all the tunnelling and camping coming from this event the survivors are forced to gen rush. It’s a viscous cycle

Survivors rush their objective because not rushing their objective generally means dying. With the amount of games where people are getting <10k points with several cakes, can you really blame them? The majority of killers playing right now are not attempting to stretch their games either. You can't know if your killer is planning on playing relatively chill or is interested in maximizing points (until they start spinning in circles and the like, anyway.)

Probably because maybe they are trying to get their crowns. But yeah I agree I had matches were everyone brings a cake but they wanna finish the gens in less then 5 minutes, like don't they want more points?

The survivors want to get the crowns and to do that, they need to survive, so of course they focus on doing gens. The more time they take to do the gens, the more likely they are to die. I don't think it's because they want less points, of course if they could get more points, they would, but sometimes it's between getting few points, surviving and getting a crown or getting more points and dying, losing the crown in the process. Blame the devs that made it so survivors need to survive to get their crowns.

I’m not blaming anyone, I mean I’m sorry if I sounded frustrated but I know both sides, killer and survivor can be also frustrating at times. I mean I know survivors don’t get a lot of points but at same time killer has to hook a good amount of people, pressure gens, pressure hex totems, etc. So yeah I get it both sides can be toxic, frustrating, and bunch of other things.

Don´t take any gen slowdown perks.
This event shows how fast gens get done and that "not everyone plays like this" is a false statement.

I totally get it, I know it’s hard for survivors to get their crowns and not get a lot of points. But killer has to do a lot too especially when going for their adepts, you have to make sure to get merciless killer while using their 3 unique perks.
