1: Probably tricked them and had some kind of traps.. he was not bound by game limitations after all and probably had the Entity help him in the background (without his knowledge of course, as the entity corrupted him?)

2: that’s a big question.. in short: the Entity is an interdimensional beast with godlike powers that feeds of strong emotions like fear and hope. It can grab people from different universes but only from specific locations and times and it costs energy. The trials happen in its realm, where it builds the maps out of memory’s.

3: we don’t know who the observer is (yet). But he has some kind of device to read the memory’s of those caught by the Entity and is in some form of save bubble inside the Entity’s realm..

also these questions should probably go kn the following forum section, you should also find more Info in the threads there as my knowledge on the lore is not that exact or detailed..

1: Talbot/Blight was able to capture the killers because of the serum he created, which he learned about when he discovered Vigo's hidden lab while running away from a killer and in it, he found Vigo's journal. He learned from the journal that he can escape the realm using the Cankers when it blooms into Pustulas and that the Entity undergoes a purge that happens once a year and during this time the Entity is infested with blight and become weak, the Pustulas only show up during this time. Wanting to escape, he decided to follow what the journal says and start creating serum from the Pustulas. Talbot couldn't create the same serum from the journal because Vigo's journal had some of these pages torn out. He was able to capture killers and he only experimented on them. Talbot experimenting on the killers were strictly business, it was not for enjoyment. He needed to find the best process for creating the serum without the bad side effects, that's why each serum injection has its own number with the material that was mixed with written on it for each killer.

2: The Entity created the trials so it can generate emotions to feed on. It needed the help of a cult to be where it is now, it is not some kind of unstoppable god. It is more of a parasite cause it needs to feed on emotion to stay alive and gain power and during Halloween it becomes very weak. We already have characters that fought and pushed back the Entity like Felix's father and Felix is part of that group too. We also have characters that used the Entity power against it and it couldn't do a thing about it like Vigo and Talbot.

3: We don't have that many infos about the Observer. He was banished from his world for reasons we don't know yet and is held as a "prisoner" in the tower. The Observer has something called the Auris, which he uses it to see the memories of those who are stuck in the realm. He is also trying to discover what else he could use the Auris for and if it could be used to help him escape.

    1. When he injected the killers with serum the Blight was still a normal person. But he discovered that the serum grants increased strength after being bitten by a rat that was injected with it, and woke up after having apparently kicked the tapper's ass. So it is fair to say he injected himself more to knock out and kidnap the other killers.

    2. An eldritch entity ( That is also a living dimension ) is kidnapping killers and survivors from the multiverse to play out a perverse game of cat and mouse. The trials play out inside of the entity, where it constructs trial grounds from the memories of killers. It does this to feed on the emotions provoked by a predator/prey dynamic that causes pain, fear, and sometimes hope.

    3. The observer is an individual from a universe where people are much more knowledgable about how the multiverse works. Thus granting them more "technological" prowess in the form of apparently mystical technology. ( this is a logical conclusion from how the observer's auris works ). He himself was seemingly banished into the entity for an as of yet unknown reason. Now he sifts through the memories of survivors and killers alike. Recording them in his journal, While also detailing his unique experiences inside of the entity through many a diary of sorts.
