So what about the Demogorgon's power?
For anyone unaware, anything Stranger Things is gonna be either removed from the game or be unavailable for purchase after the 17th of November.
Removing a likeness from the game is one thing but what about the gameplay aspect? Will there be a reskinned killer that simply has the same power as the Demogorgon? Or will his power simply be locked away for any player that joins after the 17th? It would really suck to not have access to an entire kit simply because someone started playing the game too late.

They are making the survivor perks into new generic perks for new players apparently so i would assume they may be doing the same thing with a killer. Maybe demogorgon will become an exclusive skin for said killer.

you can still play demo after the 17th, he wont be removed from the game

Nothing will change with Demo, he'll still be a playable character if you've purchased him before the cut off date -17th November, the only thing is that you won't be able to purchase the DLC after that date.

It's weird because there's not supposed to be any more "exclusives" anymore...but only people who started playing the game before a certain date having access to a whole killer + power + two survivors + their perk icons AND their associated cosmetics is much worse than access to some crappy default Feng recolour being restricted.

What would be the alternative? To remove the content from every players existing account? This would be even worse.

No ofc not I love playing demo and would probably uninstall. I'm just whining because I feel bad for future players who won't get them but I don't have any alternative suggestions to offer, no.

All the perks will be there like old unbreakable the only thing that won't is the killer and my bet Is they ate going to make an original killer with a simmlar power

I am aware of that, I mean what about people that join the game after the 17th? Will they be able to play anything with the same power as Demo or will his entire kit be essentially unobtainable? I am more concerned about the idea that an entire power will be completely unobtainable for new players.

This is pretty much the biggest question for me. I can live with the map and even the Survivors going away. But the Killer going away means that certain players are losing access to an entire mechanically unique Killer. There has to be SOME remedy to that. We don't need another Savini Jason.

I mean, obviously it sucks for newer players. But, not having a license is something which makes that happen. Not really anything you can do about that, if the License Holders dont want to renew the license, it is over.

Yeah demo's perks will be made into generic versions and be put in shrine of secrets rotation, which isn't really a satisfactory fix and honestly i won't be surprised if by jan 2022 they just outright disable demo steve and nancy and make the generic perks unlocked for everyone

Damn, that is incredibly unfortunate. I really hope the developers can come up with some solution to remedy that, It would really suck to not have access to an entire kit with unique mechanics simply because somebody joined too late. Thanks for the quick reply though.

That is incredibly sad however. Demo is so much fun and satisfying to play.
