Ruin + Undying VS Deadlock + Corrupt Intervention
Which combo do you think is stronger? IMO, the deadlock combo is more reliable, but ruin + undying has more potential slowdown. What do you guys think?

I honestly agree with what you said tbh. Both are very good choices.

ruin undying is probably still better but corrupt deadlock will be more consistent

probably depends on the killer.

Ruin + deadlock seems the better choice. Regression boost and blocking after a gen long enough for ruin to gain mandatory effect time. Personally don't bother to defend a hex with another hex, if I'm gonna risk a perk slot then I'm gonna make sure I have at least 3 others I can use the rest of the match should it be broken.

Blocked gens do not regress.

Hmm, never noticed that. Oh well, gets them off the Gen for a time and unless they wait at the Gen ruin will have some effect before they get back to it.

Corrupt + Deadlock probably slows the game down around as much on paper, but you have no control on generators. With Ruin + Undying you can defend closer generators and let go of the ones far away while with Deadlock you can't really do that since you can't really regress the generators.

I'd say Corrupt / Deadlock, Thrilling, pop and a tracking perk for a pretty standard killer build. Ruin and undying is totem spawn dependent, had games where both have been broken within 45 seconds. So i'd say use it if you want but expect it to be gone rather quick on most maps.

i don't see how deadlock supplements pop when talking about corrupt combinations
If anything, Corrupt and Lethal Pursuer should be what ruin undying are compared to as they very much guarantee good starts.
