Looks like Hellraiser won't be the only NFT license DBD 'may' have to deal with.
May the Entity have mercy on us, because BHVR and the NFT schemers won't.

We want Jason.

Oh, for Christ's sake.

Great, now one of my favourite movie franchises have sold out to them. Welp, guess it's time for me to uphold my moral integrity and no longer associate with anything new brought to the Saw world. At least I can enjoy everything released so far as they were made before the NFT deal. But anything new from Saw will not be getting my support.

NFT's or some version of them are the future. The technology will rapidly improve. Etherium is supposed to be switching to something greener. And other blockchain tech is actually carbon negative.

I had seen something in an NFT page of the Master of Horror, and I saw that the Licenses of Hellraiser, Friday the 13th and Evil Dead were related to that nefarious company, I think it would be a good opportunity to bring Jason, I mean, when talking of Pinhead, I can accept that he leaves the game for that, but if it is Jason, I prefer to see him here even if it is in the dirtiest way possible.

Boss Protocol is already producing NFTs for Evil Dead and Friday the 13th, so it might be possible for Jason to come to DBD that way. After this though, you really want BHVR to nuke their fanbase like that?

This is truely a sad world......
Why do people always want more and more money....?

I hate living in this dumb future

What a headache today has turned out to be.

In what? 10 years? These NFTs now are NOT green! And they are just a stupid way to grab money. Why buy some digital (maybe even stolen) artwork for 100s or 1000s of dollars if you can just ask some people to render you models etc in 4k or if you can just search google for a 4k wallpaper.

This must be what going mad feels like.

The future of what? They're literally nothing.
9 -
The technology is improving and prices like that won't always be the norm.

They'll be the future of digital goods and e-commerce.
0 -
How? They have no legal weight.
10 -
NFTs and all crypto are just the future of ponzi schemes, the technology will likely improve, ethereum is switching to something greener (meaning each unite will be 98% of the current carbon output), and no - there's no current blockchain which is truly carbon negative.
Buzzwords, promises, and projections don't change a current reality.

with the way the world is going, humanity wont be around for NFTs to be the future, kek

True.

I don't think this can be stressed enough, honestly.
Industrialization, carbon-fueled transportation, and other necessities that were undertaken have caused what is nearly irreversible future damage to our environment. Even to this day, we're still not green and paying environmental costs for these necessities.
Now there's an increasing bandwagon to add additional stress-factors to our world, and in this case, for what can be construed as petty and insignificant wants via NFTs? How stupid.
I don't give a crap how people spend their money, honestly, if they want to buy the rights to an image, let them.
But I really think it's short-sighted and childish for others, and the future, to pay additional prices for these transactions at this time.

Exactly.

Not like we're getting more SAW content or anything like that haha

It doesn't mean bhvr is making all these models. The IP holders can get anyone to make 3d models for them.

It is infinitely easier to. repair the world we have now instead of terraforming or finding a new one. The will just needs to be there.

At this rate the more NFT is produced, the more contamination there will be and by then, we will be dead.

yet neither of those tweets mention anything about teaming up with dbd. Boss Protocol said they were teaming up with dbd. Don't spread false information to stir people.
1 -
They just, ok? trust us on this, NFTs are the start of a golden age, NFTs will die for our sins and redeem gaming.
2 -
I'm not, but if these franchises are now producing NFT collabs theres a real chance that it could affect DBD once theyve seen DBD models for another franchise (Hellraiser) become NFTs. Additionally, some sources say the next tome may or may not be licensed. On an unrelated note, have you seen the second tweet I quoted? Very odd timing.

Why? Because they're unregulated? Eventually they will be regulated.

No, no. Stop with the overpopulation BS. The nations that are told to "take responsibility" for overpopulation have had below replacement birth rates for decades. It's a self-correcting problem.

Are you actually kidding me?

Whether DBD's models from the game or game codes for the related DLC chapters go to the license holders or not will really all just boil down to their license agreement.
