If they were to add "Pumpkins" to the base-game, How would you want to see them implemented?
Pumpkins are a neat little side-objective for all Players that are relatively quick to use and offer slight variation to normal gameplay with an inconsistent effect.
Do you think this could be incorporated into the base gameplay in some form?
How would you want to see it done?

They should keep them special to the event.

The Pumpkin skins themselves? Or the (concept of a) low-impact interactable map object?

Both. Having something you can only do during an event like the interaction with the pumpkins should stay with the event. If they had it as an every day thing it would remove it being special and the devs reskinning it for events would be seen as lazy.

Fair enough. (Though the irony is not lost on me that in this case the reduced effort in order not to be seen as lazy is in fact being lazy)

12-15 crates are created everytime a game starts. Totems can only appear inside crates. Now survs have to kick them to reach totems (kick a box to check if there is a Totem at all in there)
-gives 250 points per kick
-Mindgames: killers can kick boxes to mindgame survs (example kick the crate with haunted ground open so survs see and cleanse it or use devour hope and kick it open so survs think it is hg and ignore it etc)
-totems will never be spotted during a chase since all are hidden in boxes
-Mini side objective that makes the Match a tiny bit longer
-perks around crates can be created (examples for a killer perk : get notification if a surv kicks a create/get speed boost if you kick a crate)
