God of Desire: Should it really be an Ultra Rare?

Lore junkies and mythology buffs welcome, this one'll be a dosie. Okay, so just recently, the Vain Valentine cosmetics were released, including a brand new Ultra Rare skin for the Trickster called God of Desire. Now, this...feels a bit off to me. There have been only four Ultra Rare skins before this: The Minotaur skin for the Oni, the Krampus skin for the Trapper, the Charon/Ferryman of the Underworld skin for the Blight, and the Baba Yaga skin for the Huntress. These Ultra Rare, Legendary, and few Very Rare skins, in terms of lore, aren't skins. These are entirely different characters that coexist with our playable killers in the Fog. The Oni wasn't morphed into the Minotaur, the description states that the lingering fear of years of legends made the Minotaur materialize in the Fog as a new killer.
The thing that's bugging me is that this skin doesn't seem to be a new character. The description and look of this "new character" is just the Trickster in a new outfit. Like, I need answers here. The description confirms that the Entity didn't morph him to look like this, like some other skins, and that only leaves two options: this is just another of the Trickster's wacky ass outfits he wore for a show before the Fog, or this is an entirely alternate character, apparently the God of Desire, that just looks like this by default. Like, he's got new lines and animations and everything, just like the Baba Yaga skin, but the description makes it sound like it's still just the Trickster. It's hard enough to keep up with exactly how many characters are in the Fog without this confusing s***. So, I need to know: should this outfit be changed to a Very Rare with the same linked set and pricing, or does its being Ultra Rare make this God of Desire an entirely new character by default?
Edit: Okay, took me a while, but I eventually found something, and now there is an answer: It's just the Trickster. I found the post for the Vain Valentine collection on the Dead by Daylight website, and it says, "And of course, there’s The Trickster, who never misses an opportunity for showmanship. Fitting that he’d use Valentine’s Day to celebrate the one thing he loves the most: himself. Stage lights customized to enhance his most prominent features. Set design perfectly color-coordinated with his intricate and suggestive costume. A crowd of adoring fans, all screaming his name in unison. And yet...he still found it difficult to leave his dressing room mirror." It really is just an alternate costume for the Trickster. Why this skin isn't just a Very Rare with a higher price tag is beyond me, but Behavior is weird, so we'll just say it was to draw more attention. The problem I have with this is that THAT'S NOT HOW ULTRA RARE SKINS WORK. Behavior themselves laid out how Ultra Rare skins work when they made the rarity for the Minotaur and the Krampus. They are non-licensed Legendaries. They turn a character into an entirely separate one, so long as that new character is either original or in the public domain. And, if you haven't noticed, this alternate outfit isn't a new character. It's still just the Trickster. So instead of debating whether this new skin is an alternate character, let's have a discussion on whether or not they should change the rarity. I, as a lore junkie that prefers consistency, think that they should bring the rarity down to Very Rare. Leave it a locked set, leave it at the same price tag, leave the voice lines and animations, just please, Behavior, make it purple instead. That way, the Ultra Rare category can stay consistent without me having to actively explain the rule and then the one exception. But that's just me. What do y'all think?
Edit 2: Now, Sadako has one. Now, I'm really miffed. Not only is this Ultra Rare not a separate character, it's also licensed. WHAT THE F***, BHVR?! I know you guys aren't great with the whole, "consistency," thing, but this is just ridiculous. Again, I beg and plead, leave their prices the same, leave them linked, I don't care, but please, make them Very Rare. It's so annoying having to explain how Ultra Rares work until they don't because if these two skins.

I would say yes but also no. It could be a purple. The Sadako one doesn't make sense. Anyway the devs don't know what they're doing.
