"As soon as possible" text is definitly missleading.
If you have character that is unplayable, shouldn't you try your best to fix it as soon as possible? I don't belive you have to update the WHOLE game just because of some bug(s).
So if you like some killer and you are unlucky because they killswitch it in the 3-4 weeks window before the new update after PTB (when hotfixes are no longer a thing), it's pretty much gg.
They should at least update it to "In the future update(s)" instead of giving a fake hope.

It also costs money to push patches to consoles and I'm assuming they don't wanna do that to fix one bug on one character when there's a confirmed date as to when she will return.
I admit the phrase "when the next update drops" is normally better, except in some cases like Saloon or RPD where it was killswitched for multiple updates in a row. In those cases it'd still be misleading

There's no legal need to quickly put her back up like there would be with a paid DLC character. You wouldn't see Bubba disabled for months.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. They could delete Every DLC character (theoretically) and wouldn't have any legal problems. A game is a service, and if they decide (for whatever reason) they need to do that, you can't do anything. Not speaking about reputation. In my time as game-tester/Techsupport for a game studio, I learned how fricked that whole situation can get. There are MANY games that deleted stuff you "paid for" and you couldn't do anything.
One story was about a known pro-player in a very known shooter who got banned, and then they found out it was an accident. But because they were annoyed by the negative press they just deleted all his bought items in his game but unbanned him by saying "yeah it was an accident but unfortunately we can't give you your stuff back (which is bs btw). He lost an estimation of 3500$ (i think).
In every EULA it even says something about how they can change content and you can't do anything about it. Of course, that also has non-harmful intentions, but mostly it is in the case of "game does bad, bye" stuff.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much confirmed at this point that Nurse will be back when Sadako's chapter comes out. I just want her back so I can level her up and finish getting her to P3.

Nurse should've been a hotfix not a "we'll get to it in 6 weeks" move. When an entire killer is disabled it really can't wait for the next normal updated.

I hope they just rework her or keep her disabled tbh. Nurse is OP with 0 counterplay and is not fun in my opinion. I still played against a cheating nurse while she was disabled and it was really weird. I hope she won't get enabled before she gets a well deserved nerf or rework.

There are so many other killers you can play. It's funny that some people can't play anything else anymore. Nurse is so OP that some people don't know how to play any other killer anymore. I think this makes it even more clear how unhealthy Nurse is for this game. Some people just don't play killer beacuse they are so used to the advantage of playing nurse that they can't win with any other killer. Just play other killers, it's not that hard...

Have you considered that Nurse players might just like Nurse gameplay? I do just fine with all the other killers. They're half as interesting at best though. If she was unhealthy, she would've been given the Legion treatment or Freddy treatment. Her power wouldn't exist for 5 years mostly unchanged.

This is my opinion and of course I expected a nurse main to say this. You have no idea how I play but nice try xD. Of course nurse mains don't want to lose their advantage same as swf's especially swf's on coms don't want to lose their unfair advantage.

The only reason why nurse is still like this is because the devs don't know how to balance this game. Even someone with 500 hours can tell that deathslinger is weak and nurse is really strong. The devs however don't see this, that's why nurse got her 3 blinks again and deathslinger got a horrible (undeserved) nerf. I also didn't say that ALL nurse mains don't know how to play other killers>: ''Nurse is so OP that some people don't know how to play any other killer anymore.'' If you believe nurse is balanced just because she didn't get a nerf so far then you are mistaken my friend. BHVR only looks at statistics and beacuse she has a low killrate she doesn't get nerfed. I almost never see a bad nurse so i guess because i don't play at low MMR i have to deal with this broken killer over and over. You don't have to agree with me but trust me, BHVR doesn't listen to their experienced playerbase, they just look at numbers...😅

If they just looked at their numbers and saw Nurse was problematic, she'd be nerfed again. They just nerfed Twins add ons because of their performance at high MMR and stated as such. This argument makes zero sense.

Nurse averages out to a 2K at the absolute highest levels of play in this entire game when on an even-sided map against equally skilled survivors, and this is WITH the survivors being heavily restricted in what they can bring, moreso than the Nurse. When all restrictions are completely removed, on those same even map/even-skill matchup conditions, she drops to negative average (below 2.0). She's the best-designed and balanced killer in the game precisely because chase is 100% reliant on mindgames (aka, your skill versus theirs), and not stuff like map setups out of either side's control (tile RNG, etc) that have no relevance to skill.

I am not saying Nurse is broken or okey but same devs did RPD, kept Dead Hard in game for years (still in game), kept Decisive broken for years etc. This is not proves anything.

She did get a nerfed with the charge meter giving 2 blink by base. The 5 blinks can let nurse fix her mistakes up to 5 time. If the nurse player is skillful then she deserves the win especially against those who do the same movement against her.

She has counterplay, problem is most survivors just want to Ring - O - Pallet with every killer that they've forgotten what PvP is suppose to be!
And please keep "Fun" away from "Balance" talk because fun and balance are 2 different things!
With a comment like this, I'm 100% convinced you haven't mastered Nurse and then played other killers. Your literally claiming Nurse is a easy mode killer, but here you are being bias toward the role that's already easy mode.

Nurse have a low kill rate because she's hard to use against competent teams ( Knowing how to blink is not mastering btw ) Anyone can pick Nurse and develop muscle memory for the blinks, but to verse a good team that knows what they're doing ? you'll get your rear violated by each survivor. Nurse is the most balanced killer in the game along side Blight, and they both don't need to be nerfed because low level players can't seem to bother learn how to verse them.
I almost never see a bad nurse
It's not that you don't see bad Nurses, but it is YOU who have low skills when versing Nurse, so even the bad ones will appear strong to you.

No they didn't, they nerfed these addons because they were overused and they don't want killers to almost only use the same 2 or 3 addons...
It's really simple, buff other addons so they become more rewarding to use and they will be used way more often. BHVR shouldn't have nerfed these (already not strong) addons and should have buffed the other addons. Overused and Overperforming are not the same because if 90% of the players use the same addons then of course they are ''over-performing''.🙄

And of course i haven't ''mastered'' Nurse. Not everyone has time to play DBD 8 hours a day.😅 I play this game for fun and don't have time to play Nurse for like 60 hours a week. I'm sorry but if you have that much time then i think it's not me you should be worried about.😉
