How is Blight able to whip around corners when I can't do that
So I face Blight and some how one corners that I would not even hit a survivor on as him turn a rush attack when I face him he can and it's not like that slow turn and hit no it's this quick turn beyond what a normal Blight player can do so explain how that's even possible.

i wish they would do something about the flicks or corner turns like that.
they take skill tho so not like i see them that often so it doesn't bother me 2 much

Flick faster/further.
Flicks are intended, as said by Blight's creator, as well as double-flicking (flick->M1 to reset turn amount->flick again).

if you're on controller, that explains it. Controller can only do gradual < 90 degree turns, while pc can do quick 90 degree flicks

Yeah easier on a MnK, while blight did get an update awhile back that allowed him to actually turn alot more on console its still not quite as good as when using MnK on pc.

That depends on their add-ons and rather they play on console or PC. Sounds like you when up against a blight with adrenaline vail and umbra salts.
- Adrenaline vial
- Reduces the Token Regeneration time by -1 second per Token.
- Increases the maximum Look angle during a Rush by +50 %.
- Increases the available Rush Tokens by +2 Tokens.
- Increases the Rush Movement speed by +10 %.
- Decreases the Rush Turn rate by -0.5 °/s.
- Umbra salts- increases turning

Unfortunately like all things, its the difference in what the system uses for turning. Since controllers use a joystick (YAW system) you can only turn so fast while a mouse uses DPI so the faster you flick the faster you turn.

They exploit poor coding that the dev's can't be bothered to fix after attempting twice so they just said it's fine... Well the guy that made him and no longer works there did anyway.

Other than hug tech I don't think there's anymore exploits for blight regarding flicking.

If this was true then console and pc would be the same. Console blight is the intended design while pc blight still benefits from the speed of a mouse and other things.
You clearly have your opinion and biases but you can't deny that it is really bs that you can be on the other side of a log and the blight can just run up one side, 180 and hit you without having to bump. I had this happen on lerys. I ran through a doorway and the blight ran up the coridoor and 180'd through the door without bumping and hit me on the other side.

@Zozzy Console players aren't the main audience, otherwise the ranged killers and the whole coding would be a LOT better. I don't see any option to increase sensitivity while aiming or rushing/sawing.
They still shipped Nemesis despite the whole crashing he did on consoles.

Just my opinion, but Blight should not be able to turn 90° regardless of input. He is supposed to bounce from point to point, but the insane turns he can do break his kit.

Its simple.
PC:
Start mouse drag -> m1 -> Continue mouse drag
Console:
Tilt stick -> r2 -> keep holding tilted stick.
If you were just on the corner where blight appears, animation will seem as the flick was above 90. Due to cca 180 hitbox when hugging survivor

Nemesis crashing consoles has soured me to the point where i haven't spent any $ since. Not even a hotfix from bhvr either. Made us wait 6 weeks so we could play killer again or use an exhaustion perk on survivor without 2 seconds of latency. I still play the game and enjoy it but damn, the devs still don't prioritize fixes.

I mean I never saw a dev say "console is the intended way of blight" but you say that. Blight is intended to flick but as always controllers get held back because they refuse to add M&K support. Also I've seen plenty of console blights 180 but after the changes they did to fix heli blight it affected his flicks on console to be less effective. That on them for making that change.

If it was unintended, BHVR wouldn’t have literally made improvements to console turning so they could flick easier.

Consoles can flick as well just not as hard since you cant alter sensitivity settings. Flicks tho do not always make one a master as they are almost always learned over the mistakes youve made as well as timing

That was the point of the change. They were trying to stop the 180 flicks but pc users keep finding ways to cheat the bad coding.

(The second part of this is talking about J-flicks, which was flicking over 90 in a single frame by using extremely high DPI, which got removed.)
Non-jflick 180s (aka, actually intended flicks) are done via turning 90, M1 to reset turn limit, and turning another 90 in the next frame. Current flicks can be done with basically any DPI whatsoever. You'd just need to flick further+faster on lower DPI. It's not like J-flicks where you had to have high DPI to do it at all. Alternatively, preturning 90 (eg, sliding against a wall facing the wall), and then M1+flick 90 for the last 90 degrees. Here is where McLean talks about how console got intentional improvements to help bring them up to the level of PC in doing said intended mechanic.

I see just Blight. So a crazy DPI on a mouse for him is no different than the input delay and dead-zone joystick movement in even a max-sensitivity controller? Good to know.
Listen, I know you don't want them to mess with Blight again, and make play different or even worse, a legit concern. We all remember Billy's last changes. However I want Blight to play the same on any Platform, even on the Switch. But I'm not convinced they can do it.

The only thing DPI affects is how far you have to flick. It’s not a barrier in of itself like it was with the old J-flick exploit. (Low DPI couldn’t do JF at all) You can flick on any DPI you want. Higher DPI is just more convenient because you don’t have to flick as far each time. Something you’d do on eg, 600 is 10x that of what you’d do on 6000. But both are still completely possible. It’s just if you’re flicking repeatedly throughout a game, there’s no reason to do 10x the effort multiple times when you can do 1x the effort multiple times.
Console struggled with flicking in the past, and BHVR explicitly made a patch to boost the capabilities of console SO that they could do the same things. If you want, I can link you console Blight gameplay so you can see they ARE capable of it.

Why are you commenting on things if you don’t know anything actually true on the matter? Flicking is intended. It’s not a bug nor exploit. J-flicks were an exploit and were completely removed a long time ago.

BHVR did make a patch that greatly improved console Blight, but some of the improvements broke when they later released a patch to prevent a certain PC exploit.

It was the patch that introduced the large angle turn nerf, because Blight had an exploit involving really large angle turns. Sadly, most people still don’t understand what the large angle turn nerf actually does, and they will still throw their mouse across the table if they want to quickly turn more than 90 degrees.

No. The timeline is Blight originally could turn 180 degrees in 1 frame. Then a nerf happened to limit his turning to 90 degrees in 1 frame, and people figured out Blight could just turn 180 degrees in 2 frames. So a nerf happened to limit high DPI, but then people figured out you could bypass that by going to something like 22,000 dpi. Then that got nerfed, and this nerf unintentionally allowed Blight to spin around like a top. That got nerfed with the large angle turn nerf, and this nerf unintentionally broke console Blight. Much later, Blight would eventually get another nerf for lag related exploits.
