What happened to doctor? Haven't seen one in about 6months
Title.
While I mostly see the same few killers getting played there are some others sprinkled in there even if they arent all that common.
Doctor on the other hand has completely died out and I haven't seen 1 in so long

I don’t play him that much because the delay on shock therapy feels kinda bad imo and should be a bit shorter. I never see him as survivor either.

He is just outclassed by other Killer's.
Also, I find his add-ons a pain in the head (har har) to understand.

If they made his detonation delay faster base kit and made his shock range longer I feel like people would actually play doctor more

He's too weak, bro. He needs pink and purple add-ons to be semi-viable, and his anti-loop doesn't work half the time because the shock comes in so late.

He's a bad killer. In my opinion weaker than legion

Yeah but that's not strictly true, he not exactly the weakest killer out there and I have seen some of the others even if it's only been once a month etc.
Should use discipline addons, or at least I think that's the name. It shortens th shock delay (they cant vault etc. Sooner after being shocked)

I figured I'd see him a bit more since we got the Merciless Storm perk. Sadly not.

As someone who likes playing doctor these are my biggest complaints and they feel like pretty much mandatory add ons

Yea but I hate having to run the same addons every game. It’s like old wraith and windstorm.
Imo nerf discipline and make part of it basekit and he’d already be a lot better

I play him a fair bit. Was playing the old impossible skill check Doctor and had some success using that build. Its not a consistent build though you either 4k or 1k usually. Decided to prestige him lately and been using deadman's switch, distressing, agitation & starstruck. Its a pretty fun build and can snowball in the first few mins quite easily. Static blast and increased terror radius is really nice for deadman's switch and agitation, starstruck, distressing exposes from so far away. Its another one of those builds that 4ks or 1k.

I like Doctor, he’s one of my better killers.

From my experience twins is more common at a very low mmr, I hardly see them either but everytime i have seen one my team has no clue what's going on 😂
Probably just a coincidence but I definitely feel to get certain killers my team certainly isn't as strong

I eat an apple every time before I sit down to play Dead by Daylight. Doctor is never coming back.

Doctor was a killer made to get new players interested in DBD.
HIs power was to be able to find people before it later was adjusted to include very weak antiloop.
If you can already find people than any killer with medium/high antiloop is way better. Therefore you rarely ever see anyone play doctor.

He has a bit of "mandatory add on" syndrome. Feels really bad to play Doc without range and detonation delay add ons. His anti-loop is a bit meh. It can get you hits, but not always efficiently. Doc has been powercrept a bit.

There are only a small amount of killers that can compete against survivors without hitting a game mechanics ceiling. Doctor, unfortunately, is not one of them.

He's not very good to begin with and once you run out of 30% detonation delay addons he's benched.

I play survival mostly, but when I switch to killer I used to play as doctor lately... My favourite built as him is:
Unnerving presence, PGTW, overcharge and distressing
Fun and farm guaranteed 😜

Personally, I've just never really cared for Doctor's gameplay. He can be really oppressive, but I only really ever play him if I have a daily or Rift Challenge.
Also, I hope comments that about how he isn't Spirit, Nurse, or Blight are meant to be ironic, because I never play those killers. Course, I'm also not a top MMR beast, either.
