So about the new survivor perks and buffs
- BBQ/NC counter perk, I'm fine with that.
- That Bond+empathy 2.0, I'm fine with that too.
- Break hook on rescue perk, why though?
I assume it is to counter tunnel/camp etc but why to this extent? IIRC, this perk applies the same effect as sabotage and hook reappears only after 3-ish minutes? So basically this even punishes killers who don't tunnel the hooked person and goes after the next bbq? Now add the recent "hooks only every 24 mtrs", sabo buff, DS and guaranteed you get the most annoying game as a killer. While I agree not everyone might run this build, still it is the perfect build for troll squads. What was even the thought process behind this perk? As if sabotage wasn't annoying enough. How about a perk where killer could sabo a generator and make it unusable for 3-ish minutes?
Just fyi, I enjoy both the sides but admittedly killer more than survivor (55-45) and I'm not saying this perk is OP but can be extremely annoying to an already time constrained killer game. What are your thoughts? Especially if you play both the sides.

Imagine going up against a 4man swf who all have this perk and sabo and they all slap toolboxes on at the last second and they go around 99% all hooks.
What do you do? If you were caught off guard and didn't bring hangman's trick. Even if you manage to hook one you lose the hook. 11 hooks will be gone before you can finish off the last survivor, good luck with that.
A match like that wouldn't be worth playing, snd you know you'll end up getting meme squads who will do it.
Better pray you've got a killer whose good at slugging and then just watch them all bleed out.0 -
I would say there is finally a use for that pig hook perk but I will still never use it. If it becomes common I suppose more killers will run iron grasp and agitation together.

@ColonGlock @The_Crusader Yup. The sad thing is killers don't have the luxury of wasting two perk slots (HT, Agitation) just for the sake of countering 1 perk, at least in purple/red ranks. While the other two new survivor perks have in one way or another affect meta killer perks, I can still live with that since they are more like a hindrance and doesn't impact my objectives directly (hooking a downed survivor). But breakdown is simply going to be a bully perk which could add extreme annoyance factor to killer gameplay. Is this what dev's idea of making this a fun game? As someone who tries to play killer as fair as possible without tunnel, camp, these changes just demotivate me to play that way and playing killer as a whole. Hope the devs can explain the reasoning behind these changes.

So again we will get people bringing Billy and Nurse and slugging everyone. Then when survivors start to disconnect and cry I'm sure things will be changed. Oh wait they already nerfed slugging last update 😂1 -
