Everyone freaking out about chapter 24 being orginal
Why was everyone pissing themselves over the anniversery chapter being orginal? I mean, we already got two licensed chapters in 2021. Plus it's one chapter, its not like bhvr wont add another license ever again.

Who's freaking out? I've seen surprisingly few complaints and a lot of praise for this chapter. Everyone on the forums seems pretty chill about it.

they are now, they most definitely werent about a month and a bit ago. "no big licence for anni is the death of the game nobody wants to work with bhvr anymore" etc etc blah blah blah

Because if you compare to last year anniversary chapter, this one is pretty mediocre.

Is it? I think The Dredge is pretty cool and interesting. But some people will just be doom sayers. And who knows, maybe Jason will indeed be the crazy surprise guest that literally barges through the wall.

I still don't think this chapter is good enough for anniversary. But i am happy for upcoming changes. So i don't care about it is licensed or not anymore. I am more excited for meta and prestige changes.

The FNAFF crowd went bonkers over not being FNAFF but thats always the case, nothing new so maybe it flew under the radar for a lot of people.

Most of the comments explained what was going on. When the chapter got leaked, most people where freaking out about it being original

I have been on forums all week and did not see anyone "freaking out" about Dredge being "original."

This was mainley on twitter, which i probebly should have mentioned before, so i apologize for that. Plus the outrage was a month ago so u probebly wont see much now

I see people using blast mine, flashbang and lethal pursuer.
Dredge can be popular, but Nemesis is also popular.
Haddie is not gonna be popular she looks like Nea had a baby with a troll and Haddie was born.

Compared to the last two anniversaries (Silent Hill and Resident Evil) this current one is extremely underwhelming. Original chapters will never manage to create as much hype as a licensed ip/crossover.

i disagree with the same guy, but c'mon. flashbang, blast mine, bite the bullet, resurgence, Eruption, hysteria and especially lethal are some of the most healthy and fun perks this game has seen in a while. I'd love for all perks to be similar in design to these.
Nemi is also very fun and has reasonable counterplay IMO.

As someone who only really cares about licensed content I was disappointed at first. Luckily behavior knocked it out of the park with this new killer so that disappointment was short lived.

Personally, I dig the original designs more. Don't get me wrong, I like the occasional licensed content, but I much prefer to see something new.

Considering they confirmed a second resident evil chapter is next, it seems like all of the people complaining/worried about licensed content have gone silent.
Personally as someone who was looking forward to a licensed anniversary but got spoiled, this chapter is 100% a success and I'm very pleased with it. BHVR's done a great job this time
