Can one of the developers explain why Dredge's head is THIS?
I like Dredge. Really. Despite a few balance problems I have with him from survivor POV, I greatly enjoy playing as him and I already prestige 3`ed him.
His overall design idea is also great, that hideous amalgam of human bodies that is being worn by an animated darkness as some kind of a shell or a flesh puppet.
Although, there's just one thing that I don't understand - his head. Why is it this and not ANYTHING but THIS?
It looks like a freaking turkey from some angle. From another angle it looks like man's-you-know-what. I just don't get why and how this ended up being the final design. I also can't see how human body parts got molded into THIS and why it even happened, what purpose this is supposed to serve, etc.
I see it's kinda has a skull on top of it, although the location of the eye suggests even the skull wasn't properly used.
Why not make it look like something more body-horror`ish? He's just a few ideas you could've tried utilizing instead of ending up with whatever that ugly (in the worst way that is can only be applied here):
Making its head be just a big blob with dozens of eyes. No mouth, nothing, just a big bunch of bloodied eyes moving in all kinds of different directions at different speed.
A human's skull/head being torn from the inside by some hideous growth getting from it.
The same turkey-kind of a head, but instead of a mouth being a small slit in front, it actually just splits the head in two halves with absurd amount of teeth
Just more skulls with some muscles attached to them like Fleshbeast from Nemesis
