I hope that the BBQ and WGLF changes remove their bloodpoint bonus.

I know the title sounds repulsive, but hear me out.

Every time a new chapter comes to the live build, I feel locked out of playing that character until I get BBQ tier 3 or WGLF tier 3 on them. Sometimes that may be 20 bloodwebs, sometimes that may be 100. Either way, it's feels very discouraging. And even once I get it, I feel like I have to run it every game, locking me out of specific perk builds and always limiting me to three perks. Maybe you can chalk that up to me being too focused on grinding "optimally," but I'm sure others feel this way too.

With the upcoming prestige changes making the grind much less intensive, it should cancel out the bonus bloodpoints you get from BBQ and WGLF. While yes, if you P3 Bubba and David, you will get BBQ and WGLF on everyone, it will still be a nice QOL change and allow for more diverse builds for players with OCD-like behaviors.

Maybe we could even get a basekit bloodpoint multiplier if we hook all four survivors ;)

    Removing bp bonuses will destroy those perks. Both perks are meta but fine.

    I think people will mostly agree with you to be honest.

    BHVR have stated that they're not just looking at nerfing the most used perks, they're looking at WHY people run them, and I think so long as there is a perk on both sides that doubles your bloodpoints, people will run it - even if they reduce the grind massively, because, well, more bloodpoints is a good thing.

    So I'm in agreement, I hope that they add a basekit modifier where if you do (x) in the game, you double your bloodpoints without needing a perk tied to it.

    This is why I suggest they add a basekit multiplier to bloodpoints for doing actions in-game, like hooking survivors as killer or healing teammates as survivor. It would also be nice for them to make the bloodpoint gains between both sides more even. If both of those are done, then you will essentially have basekit BBQ / WGFL.

    BBQ is good on its own. Many people run it out of habit and their game sense relies on those auras after hooking. WGLF may be situational but it's still good in those situational / meme builds. And it could always be reworked from the ground up.

    I think WGLF is great, it's a weak perk, but forces to play actively and altruistically, sacrificing perk slot at the same time.

    Placing BP farming option on very strong killer perk is not cool. I'd put it on Grim Embrace.

    Make their BP bonuses basekit. They shouldn’t be attached to a perk.

    My guess is that they’re going to increase end of match bloodpoint rewards across the board as part of this rework and replace the bloodpoint bonuses on BBQ and WGLF with some other effect that actually impacts the match itself. That way nobody feels like they “have to rub BBQ to grind points”, but the perk will still be decent in a different way than it is now,
