    I believe that not seeing the MMR scores has discouraged many players and make them blame other factors for their SBMM woes, which can cause misinformation and misguided complaints.


    However, the MMR system needs to be tightened before hand. It seems pretty wonky and fickle - so seeing MMR go up and down in strange patterns may cause more cynicism in the community than just keeping the shadiness of those numbers secret.
