Make all Maps viable for Trapper
Eyrie of Crows, Midwich, various other maps with little to no grass, with ######### tile sets, with ######### loops with ######### pallets with ######### hitboxes that you nerfed on his traps for some reason. Make it so it can actually block passages so your time spent setting the up is worth it. He's your freaking posterboy BHVR and you continually ######### on him. Why?

Imagine if his traps would be like Chameleon.
Each map would have different paint of color that fits the general ground. So for example Eyrie would have like sand themed traps so they are harder to spot. Etc.

I actually really like that idea, it would be an easier change then trying to change all the maps and help the Trapper as an overall buff as well.

Yeah, I’ve said the same thing, if they made his traps translucent it would be a nice buff for him.

i think it would be better if he could just throw his traps, kinda freddy's pools. he would have way more responsive power in the chase.

Midwich is great for Trapper. It's dark, the floor is grimy, there's several two-story vaults and floor holes you can capitalize on, and most importantly, there's a ton of narrow doorways where you can get value even if survivors know where the traps are. Trapper's less reliant on grass in indoor maps because survivors have less of an ability to just path around his traps when they see them.
Eyrie, though... rest in pieces. Nowhere to hide traps even if the broad daylight ensures survivors would see them anyway. They should definitely make sure every outdoor map has adequate ground cover. Even if that means some ankle-deep dust and debris or dead twigs instead of grass, there's gotta be something. Chameleon traps are an excellent idea and should also be worked in, but even that can only go so far when there's absolutely nothing to work with.

Funny that I see this thread after I got zero hooks on eyrie as trapper with not so good add ons.
It is also my fault partially but how do I hide my traps on that map? Any tips for playing trapper on that map, I didn't took an L that big since forever lol.

Remember though, walking into a snare just slows you down a bit, if you walk into Trapper's trap it's a guaranteed down unless he's pretty far away when it happens. That's presumably why it's not as easy for Trapper to use them on the fly mid-chase.

I used double reset trap addon Autoset after trapped, Auto reset a trap after 30sec. And I got Crow map, I just put on all windows and lock down the hold main building. The match went great for me, but I feel its should not be so map dependent

i don't know why this would a difficult thing to add to the game

That would be interesting, but it would probably take actual effort.

I am not a programmer but this should be REALLY easy to implement

They just need to slightly blend with the surface they are put on, like army camouflage, they need to be hard to see but not impossible.

"Understood. We will be nerfing Freddy."

this
and then change the tar bottle or whatever that add-on is into "Invisible Paint".
"Invisible Dye":
A mysterious clear liquid stored in a fist-sized glass bottle. It reeks of ammonia, sulfur and metal. When using it to paint various objects it changes color as if to hide the object it was painted upon.
- Upon setting down a Beartrap, it changes in color. adjusting to the ground it was put on.
since some places have different colors (Eyrie of cringe for example is very sand colored but the shack for example isnt) this would probably be bugged as hell but I'd like to see if that would actually be a good add-on.

Honestly I just think it should be base kit for the trapper
