Nice quote from the worst star wars film.
The patch has been out less than a week. Lots of people only have time to play once every couple weeks so haven't had a chance to check out the new update.
Lots of people also log in when a new update hits, causing a temporary spike in steam chart numbers.
I only pointed out we won't know how this update has gone over for a few weeks at least.
The only thing I can say for certain is my killer queue times have increased dramatically and survivor queue is instant at all times.

VHS is available to everyone now iirc and so is Evil Dead.

In this patch specifically the data shows that people are leaving in droves, from the actual drop % data to the genuine drop in positive on the steam game store. Of course you think DBD is a success, you're a killer main. So of course you're gonna say everything's good, just like you do on every other thread.

lol you don't know ANYTHING about the data "in this patch specifically". Literally more people are playing on a random Monday than in month averages in the recent months. While I expect that number to dip, it's an excellent data point. People are playing the heck out of this game whether you cry on the forums or not. That invalidates your opinion. You can whine about how unfair the patch was but the numbers look fine.

this honestly surprise me but then again it doesn't show console data time will tell

That doesn't matter. This is a representative sample. No sound argument can be made for a potentially huge discrepancy amongst PC and console numbers with respect to this patch.

console players can just play better games most people play this game on Xbox game pass and just quit after this update for better game pass games

LOL

You saying "more people are playing it" means nothing to anything, because you have 0 data to back that statement up. As where I've shown the data that proves that you're 100% wrong, so go cry on all your other threads.

imho, I think it´s the toxicity of the community that fuels this game, that´s why there is this community where it´s all Killers vs Survivors. And devs know it, that´s why the openly promote toxicity one way or another.
The mockery, teabagging, facecamping is just awesome juice for money. Then add skins in top of it.

I referenced steam charts and you referenced nothing at all. What are we missing?

When you're looking on the steam charts there are a few options to click on, the one I highlighted shows by month, but you can put it on by days and it will show the comprehensive day by day data on users. You'll see that while the game stayed relatively the same in terms of general play the actual number of users who play the game dropped once the patch came out, because it became very unfun.

Gta san andreas is the only gta game
Don't bother giving me other games if they don't have CJ and Big Smoke in it.
A game can only belong to a genre if it has specific characters and all of those specific characters after all

I don't think it's that far fetched. I think League of Legends is notorious for not being fun to play, but also being highly addictive. They actually stopped doing derivative gamemodes because people would play those modes, but then quit the game, rather than go back to playing the normal mode when the gamemode gets removed again. I think that's because when you get used to playing something, it can be hard to recognise when you stop having fun with it.
So yeah, I think it's entirely possible that there's people that don't like DBD that still play it religiously.

It's like people goes to play DBD whenever a new patch rolls out and mysteriously leaves when it gets too boring again, Surprising! not*

When you have no survivors left to play against then we’ll see how fun you think it is

Hate to tell you this, but the game is dying. The loss of players over the past few months shows it. Give it a bit and the dlc will be out of their system and the numbers will be right back down again. Also wouldn't rely on steam charts ;)

How many times have we said that dbd is dying just for it to not be dying? Seriously if its dying then it must be the worlds slowest death cause its apparently been dying for 4-5 years
