Why can't Dredge be lightburned?
It's a killer themed around darkness, yet has no unique interactions with flashlights? Seems like a missed opportunity. At the very least, I feel like you should be able to get rid of the remnant with a flashlight.

Dredge doesn't interact with the spirit world, which is the lore reason for why only Wraith and Nurse suffer from it.

I mean it's a killer that looks like random pieces of meat floating around in a black cloud. I feel like the spirit world is involved somehow.

that is latency related and is the mirror inverse of getting pallet validated. The sever/killer client disagreed with your clients version of what happened. I'm not sure if remnant destruction is handled on the killers client or the server so I am not 100% sure of what disagreed with your client
also my personal opinnion is that this would be so bad as dredge, you could turn off his power at low height loops which is dumb.

Spirit doesn't get Lightburned though does she? It destroys her husk but otherwise doesn't stun her any more than any other killer (as far as I know?)

According to lore, Spirit does not interact with the Spirit World (which is odd because it feels like she would since she's called the Spirit). She interacts with a different sub realm called "The Ethereal Plane."
