I don't understand how sole survivor works.

Sole survivor says that the killer cant see your aura by 24 meters per each survivor killed. What I don't understand is, is the game measuring the distance from the killer? Where the killer cant see you within 24+ meters of him, or is it taking away 24 meters each time a survivor dies from the distance he can see you?

    The killer cannot read your aura when you are within 24/48/72 metres of him (based on survivors dead).
