Wiretap not working with open-handed is somewhat expected, but I kind of wish it wasn't

Like a lot of other people here, I was hyped for this new RE chapter to release from the PTB and see if wiretap not working with open-handed was a feature or a bug, and to me and others dismay, it was officially declared a feature here on the forums and this perk combination was mentioned nowhere in the patch notes.

So this got me thinking, compared to other perks that DO work with open-handed, is wiretap not working something to be expected? Well, lets compare other perks and find out!

First, lets take a look at the perk description of open-handed.

Now lets take a look at some perks that DO work with open-handed. the following is a list of some said perks:

Windows of opportunity.

Kindred.

What do all of these perks have in common? They all feature the "unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability" line and all have yellow text when referring to the numbers.

Now lets look at wiretap.

No mention of the "unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability" line, and the perk value numbers for the aura reading are in purple.

The only conclusion I can make from this? That the "unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability" is required for open handed to actually work with a perk. I'm assuming this is to go along with the "strengthens the potential of you and your team's aura reading abilities" line from open-handed, but it's honestly a little silly that the flavor text of a perk appears to be determining if it works with open-handed or not. The perk value colors are probably nothing though, I just thought I would point that out as well as a difference.

So sadly, as much we would love that sweet 30m aura reading, it looks like it'll never be. Which in all honesty? Is probably a good thing since 30m aura reading without the killer knowing could definitely be a little broken.
