So I've made a pretty fun Trapper build I wanna recommend.

Dark Devotion, Furtive Chase, Nemesis, and Floods of Rage.

I'ts just bonkers. They never know what's real, they never know whats what. I've had a few who seemed to have figured it out pretty quick, but unless they are really paying attention it's hard to know whats real and whats fiction and it catches them off guard. And the fact that you take away the ability to trust their hearing, they have to keep their peepers pealed for where you are, which means they aren't watching for traps.

Unless they are, because then they aren't watching for you.

Now I don't have access to Awakened Awareness just yet, but I feel like that could work out super well, scoping out where everyone is as you carry the obsession to the hook after having downed them and given you Dark Devotion. You might be able to sort of wrap around wherever you last saw them, and since they will be fixated on the TR coming off the dude on hook, they won't even see you coming. I do plan on trying that out as soon as it's available to me, but if anyone else wants to give it a try and let me know how it goes, I'd be willing to hear.

    Holy crap bro that’s pretty impressive and creative! I’m a trapper main but i don’t have any of those perks unlocked, so I won’t be able to try it out. Question though? Why did you choose Trapper for this build? Pinhead sounds like a good candidate for this, because his power thrives in chaos and confusion. It’s too bad Fearmonger doesn’t have room to fit in there, to circumvent Sprint Bursting away from gens.

    I think this build is perfect, and not worth substituting any of the perks for Awakened Awareness. Even if you swapped it out with Floods of Rage, that will weaken the build. IMO, Floods will give you more value.

    Actually, the reason I went Trapper is because I wanted a way to injure the obsession from a distance, in the hopes of tripping Dark Devotion remotely. It actually has worked out a few times and it's absolutely beautiful when it does, but you're more likely to trigger it with an M1, and it works just as well that way.
