Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

What is your "I'm in way, way over my head" killer build?

This is the build where your MMR is too high, and you know you're going to end up with 2 or 3 hooks and at most one kill.

I've had a surprising amount of success with:

STBFL

No Way Out

Rancor

Blood Warden

STBFL guarantees you a trade when there is hook bombing (and so does Rancor - the obsession can't participate, so unless the obsession is on the hook you have a 2 v 1 at worst). When it gets down to one generator, I try to find the obsession (and kill them immediately when the last gen pops, with NWO giving me time to find someone else). Blood Warden enables all sorts of end game shenanigans - it is the only perk in the game that gets MORE effective against SWFs, since non-trolls have the sense to just leave.

What is your roll of the dice build?

I do not have one of those builds.

I don't really think high MMR exists anymore, although it did at one point. My matches have been so inconsistent for the last couple of months.

Sometimes, I'll play against complete newbies. Sometimes, I get people like Tofu. Not much of a way to prepare for the shift, so I can tell you my Wesker build.

    Dissolution, STBFL, PR, Bamboozle.

I don't run a build with the intent of losing, but one killer I really love running blood warden on is trickster. Idk what it is about him, but it seems like people always think they can get that save when the gates are open against him

If I'm on a losing streak feeling tilted and really, really REALLY need to win...

    Unnerving Presence

    Coulrophobia

    Sloppy Butcher

    Distressing

On Wesker. With a Game map offering. And his Iri offering that makes all survivors start infected + his ultra rare that gives him undetectable when a survivor reaches full infection.

You'll most likely win and feel icky afterwards.

I don’t have a build like that, but my generic build I’m running right now on most killers is one that counters the most popular survivor perks

    • Discordance - counter to Prove Thyself
    • Fearmonger - counter to various Exhaustion perks
    • Hex Third Seal - counter to Windows of Opportunity (the second most popular perk at the moment after Dead Hard and other aura perks)
    • Hex Undying - protects Third Seal and gives additional info.

Seems to work pretty well. 🙂

What are you even talking about? Do people think their MMR shifts massive amounts between trials and they are suddenly in overwhelmingly high MMR territory because they had a good match or two? And how would you know that from the lobby? A survivor could be prestige 93, it doesn't mean they're high MMR.
